Convenient

Posted Dec 27, 2016
Pros: Location.good value.
Location: Easy walk, along Lake of the Woods, to the lovely little town of Kenora.
Woke up Christmas morning to see that Santa had visited. Nice personal touch. A stocking full of Super8 treats.

Great place to stay

Very comfortable rooms and dog friendly is a bonus! Close to downtown Kenora and surrounding area! Stayed there a few times already, and will most likely visit and stay there again.

Good Stay

Pros: hotel staff are friendly
Don't expect duvets and fancy bathrooms.....expect a decent place to stay with a friendly staff. I'll be there again.

Good value hotel overlooking lake

Posted Oct 20, 2016
Stayed one night, quiet and comfortable. Staff went out of their way to be helpful, waking us (as we requested) to show us a bear which had been spotted nearby.

Comfy hotel in beautiful city

Posted Oct 5, 2016
We were very pleased with this hotel - room, service, location, extra touches like cookies and soup, breakfast. It was close enough to walk downtown and close to the trails on Tunnel Island. The only down point was the poor WiFi service. It kept cutting out.

Decent hotel getting a little dated. Nice staff.

Pros: Location; Price; Staff
Cons: The strange odor in the hallway was disconcerting.
A nice location on west edge of Kenora. A good restaurant across parking lot. Two stories with no elevator. Our end of 2nd floor hall had a strange odor, but not in room. Room was big and beds were nice. Bathroom was a bit cramped. Place could use a bit of updating throughout, but price was good considering. Breakfast was substantial and nicely varied. Overall a good experience.

Pros: Conveniently located, with a restaurant right next door. Very friendly staff.
Cons: I was a little disappointed with the breakfast, as there were no scrambled eggs, bacon, and sausages like there are in other hotel breakfasts.
The room was excellent, and the bed was very comfortable.
