It was ok for what we were using it for

We enjoyed staying there.. But if my handicapped mother in law were staying with us and on the 2nd floor it would have not been feasible.

No fridge microwave

No fridge or microwave in the room. Room was clean and nice though and staff was nice.

Dear Matt, Thank you for your response. Please know that we do have rooms with microwaves and refrigerators in them, and we are looking to add even more in the coming months. These rooms can be booked on any booking channel and are available for only a slight increase over our standard rooms.

Good location for renaissance fair but room not

Staff was nice and courteous but room was disappointing. Was told room was just cleaned but there was some garbage left on the floor. Bed was ok but pillows were terrible. Would stay only if brought my own pillows

Overpriced for what you get

We stayed here because our friends booked a room at the same time. The 3rd party site listed it with a pool and hot tub. There wasn't one. Worse, the halls were filthy and in need of a good cleaning. The outer doors to the rooms were all stained with white paint that looked awful. In the room the AC unit let off an odd smell..I think a previous guest had dropped essential oils onto the venting. It was not an overly bad smell but astringent and weird. In the bathroom the toilet was crammed into a tiny space. Heck, the whole bathroom was the size of a shoe box. And to top it off the tub plug didn't work. We had to use a wash cloth stuffed in the drain to take an actual bath.. and being sore after a full day of running.. we wanted the hot tub the 3party site claimed it had. Lastly, the breakfast.. juice dispenser broken.. they tossed jugs of juice in an odd spot on the counter.. and there wasn't a staff to be found to restock anything. Also, at checkout, we had to wait forever to find staff to actually help us. I have been in worse but I certainly wouldn't rebook this overpriced dump. Seriously.. I wouldn't pay more than $100 to stay here unless I like getting ripped off.

Dear Kathleen, We are sorry you did not fully enjoy your stay with us. We will reach out to the third party to see why they are falsely advertising amenities the hotel does not offer. We apologize about the condition of the rooms being under construction, but rest assured not all guest rooms are splattered as you pointed out, as our housekeeping department has been diligently wiping down guest room doors to get rid of any dust/debris caused by the construction going on. We have reported the tub plug issue you mentioned to our maintenance department and have corrected the problem. We again apologize we were not able to fix this issue prior to your arrival. In addition, we were awaiting additional pitchers we ordered for the apple and orange juice as our juice machine is temporarily down. I have spoken to the front desk about ensuring that the breakfast is kept fully stocked during breakfast hours. We will continue to work through these setbacks and use them as training examples so that we may better serve our guests in the future.

Staff were courteous, did not know where local breakfast spots were (one right across the road), easy access, door to room was difficult to open and close. Bed was comfy and was able to control room temperature no problem.

Overall, we had no issues with or stay at the La Quinta. Our room was overall clean, minus a few stains on the carpet. A tad outdated, but served our purpose of a one night stay! Thank you! Very friendly as well.
