I was amazed at first of the price.
Secondly, the location.
And thirdly how nice clean tidy the room was.
When I booked through Hotels.com I never realised I needed a photo I.d when checking in.
I normally drive everywhere so my drivers license is usually in my wallet.
However, as I had taken the train, I decided I’d take certain things out of my wallet, like my drivers license as I didn’t think I’d need it as obviously I wouldn’t be driving.
I also took out other bits and bobs, just simply in case I lost my wallet, then I’d only have to sort my debit card out if that had of unfortunately happened.
So, when I came to check in... no photo I.d
It does say at the bottom when booking, but in my rush to book the room, I never noticed this.
Anyway... luckily the gentleman on reception just took a copy of my debit card instead, so all was good in the end.
So if you’re not planning on driving into London like I did, make sure you keep your photo license on you when checking in.
