Quintessential English boutique hotel

Posted Jul 30, 2017
Pros: Everything
Location: Easy access to shops, restaurants, measurements and tube stations
Very helpful front desk staff. Upgraded to a larger room which over looked the street, the trees and the museum. Short walk to Glouster Road and the High Street. Would love to stay there again.

Pros: Good location.
Nice hotel in an excellent location. Staff was pleasant and accommodating. Elevator does not go all the way up so if you are on a higher floor you will be climbing stairs. Elevator was broken the first day but a (brave and strong) staff member carried up the luggage and elevator was fixed the next day. Cable and wifi reception was spotty in the room I was in.

Good but some drawbacks!

Comfortable but small with no room for cases. Wifi intermittent. Well located between South Kensington and Gloucester Road tube stations so plenty to delight the sounds, tastes and senses.

Lovely hotel. As Americans we are used to larger bathrooms, but overall it was a very nice hotel.

Good place to stay

Posted Jul 8, 2017
Pros: rooms are modern, well appointed, bathroom was spacious and staff was very pleasant and professional. Its location was convenient (for me).
Cons: My safe deposit box did not work well.
Location: Super convenient for South Ken and Kensington generally.
Everything worked and was stress free from checking in to checking out. Rooms are comfortable and despite being on the LGF mine had a spacious bathroom. Very courteous and professional staff. Nothing to complain about.

Disappointed:(

Posted Apr 25, 2017
Tired hotel.... needs an update. Original room we were allocated was terrible... no more than a single, no light and dirty bathroom... we did get moved to a better room 'as an upgrade'.... Good location and friendly staff

Excellently located opposite the Natural History Museum and close to the Royal Albert Hall. 5 minutes from the tube station. Friendly staff but had trouble getting in when returning at 5pm due to staff member vanishing for a while. Stuck outside for 10 minutes with another guest until a former employee turned up and got in via another route. Silly mistake but can't blame the hotel.

excellent location

The first time I stayed here was in a superior room and it was fabulous. all the rooms have comfortable beds but some parts of the hotel look a little bit tired. The location right across from the Natural History Museum can't be beat though.
