Great location for Olympia. Nice bar. Rooms feel a little dated.

dated in need of a complete refurb

Posted Sep 18, 2017
Not Hilton hotel standard for this prime location, was very disappointed how shabby everything has become at the hotel after staying there many times in the past the only thing that's smart and pleasing to the eye is the bar area and the restaurant/ breakfast room but you don't sleep there. Old dirty looking carpets in hallways and in the rooms mattress hard outdated bathrooms come on Hilton hotel Olympia pull your socks up and get it sorted, has the potential to be a really smart hotel.

London Calling to High Street Kensington

Posted Sep 5, 2017
Pros: Front desk staff, complimentary breakfast, lounge
Cons: Can't think of anything. I was happy there.
Location: Location in High Street Kensington, walking distance to overground train at Kensington Olympia but it's at least a mile to the nearest tube.
Nice rooms, comfortable and clean but not super luxurious. The staff was very accommodating, especially the front desk staff -- they were wonderful and efficient and friendly. We were given an upgrade. Excellent complimentary breakfast which includes the makings of a Full English Breakfast and many other options as well. As a Hilton Honors member there was also access to an executive lounge each evening which included cocktails and small bites plus of course free wifi. Very nice overall. This hotel is not brand new but I didn't mind that old dark wood in the hallways, in fact, it gave me a feeling of being a bit old-fashioned but not in a bad way. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was clean. I would stay here again.

Ideal location for Olympia exhibition hall.

Posted Aug 18, 2017
Pros: The location
Cons: It is looking a bit tired especially in the very long corridors
Location: 3 minutes walk from Olympia exhibition halls and about 6 minutes from Kensington High Street shops. Also Holland Park is nearby for fresh air.
Despite a slight mix up over our 2 separate bookings, the receptionist ensured we were in the same room for all 3 nights. It was a bit noisy due to proximity to main roads but slept well. Will return but mainly due to the location near to Olympia.

First impression is misleading

Posted Jul 30, 2017
I stayed here for 2 nights on business. The lobby and the restaurant were beautiful, modern and clean. I was tickled pink that I chose this hotel. Then I got to the room and it was really small, dated and had an awful view. I can deal with a small room and bad view. I then went to connect my devices to the internet and found out quickly that only one is allowed to be logged in at the same time. I also learned that the wifi is in and out constantly. There were no adapters to convert the power from UK to US either, so once I ran out of power, I decided to go to bed. Finally I thought I would check out the local news and attempted to watch tv before I went to sleep, and that didn't work either. The location was alright for me, really close to the office.

Hotel close to tube station & mall!

Posted Jul 6, 2017
We had two room on the 8th floor- it was fairly quiet except for room 843- at 700 you could start to hear the laundry put in and the staff start to work. That was a little distracting and loud. Other than that the hotel was great.

Nice but small

Posted Jun 3, 2017
Pros: Staff
Cons: AC units need a MAJOR overhaul. They were not blowing any cold air at all. The humidity made the AC unit even worse and ended up getting bronchitis.
Went to London on business and this was the closest hotel room. Staff was nice, room was clean, but VERY VERY SMALL. Tiny elevators so if it's crowded, take the stairs! It's faster. I cannot believe how tiny the room was ... my dorm room in college was bigger. This is geared for tourists who leave the hotel for hours and hours to do tourist stuff and only go there to sleep.
