The room I had was large and comfortable. Probably in need of a little TLC (shower head not very clean). Tea/Coffe and biscuits always appreciated!

I like the friendly staff. The clean tidy rooms and the cookies were a nice touch as well. The internet connection was a bit annoying but it did work eventually. The noise from the refrigeration unit on a lorry was a bit noisy on the first night but I slept well so it couldn't have been that bad!

Needs updating as the walls were pealing and the windows were mouldy. The first room i had the drain in the bath was over flowing and was full of fluff and hairs.. short ones.. so was moved straight away. Lady on reception was lovely so friendly and always greeted me. Outside the hotel is having work so while it was a bit messy and muddy its understandable. Just hope the rooms get an update too. Bed was comfy though

Lots of mould in room 29 it was black on bathroom ceiling and around the main window come on days in if you clean a room get someone capable of doing everything we will not be staying again

Convenient and no frills
Conveniently located at the services, free parking. Clean, no frills room, shower a little dodgy and hot/cold temperamental. Shows signs of use and wear but overall good value for money..

Functional room, comfortable bed, staff were friendly. It was good for the price. Only downfalls were a bit of mould on the bathroom ceiling and no clean down between nights (would have been nice to have coffee/tea refill and clean towels) however that wouldn't stop us from staying there again.

Damp and unpleasant
The room originally allocated was damp and smelly with mildew on the walls and paper peeling. Reception was surprised that I was not happy. The room was not really fit for habitation. The replacement was ok, but I was not convinced over cleanliness. When leaving, I noticed the original room has been made up for me guests, but with the door open and the smell clear from the corridor

Firstly, Google takes you to a lorry park if you put this hotel into maps. Not a major problem nor the hotel's fault, you'd think. But the hotel is situated in a corner of this services, obscured by construction work and I had to ask at the petrol station if there was a hotel near by or was Google lieing. Hotel is in need of a lot of TLC. My first and last visit here.

It's a 3 star hotel in a motorway service station. What do you expect? The rooms are bigger than you would expect and the beds are large and comfortable. The thing that sets this place above all other average places are the staff. They are all wonderful! I've stayed here many times because of them. Mark, Sharron, Kerry, Lisa, Tara, are all ones that deserve an extra mention. Sorry to anyone I forgot but all deserve a massive pat on the back. The whole place needs a refurb but the staff carry the experience over the crap paint and enamel. Really nice people who need to be recognised. PLEASE GIVE THEM AT LEAST A THANK YOU!!!!

Better if you are travelling by Car as the walk from Hollingbourne is "cross-country" and not on Google Maps. Otherwise it is a bit rough but is a good price and easy on the wallet.

Shockingly bad.
The hotel is wrecked. The walls are cracked, the paintwork is scratched and the bath tubs are chipped and covered in on-grained dirt with mould in the tiling grout. Like others have said, there were hairs on the bedding and an awful smell. And at 3am another guest was in the hallway banging on doors and raving about being a crack addict. There’s clearly no security as they did nothing to stop her.

Lovely clean room comfortable beds plenty of space in room. Quiet and airy. Good value for money. Downside no plug sockets near the beds. Not so good if you have a CPAP machine. Also shower over bath is not acceptable in a wheelchair accessible room.

Avoid at all costs
Knock it down and start again, without doubt the worst hotel we’ve ever stayed in and we’ve stayed in some pretty fruity places in Asia, Africa and South America. £139 for the privilege of being within 45minutes of the Eurotunnel at summer holiday time. The check-in staff were friendly but once everyone was checked in the reception desk shutters came down and nobody was to be seen from then presumably because they were used to the complaints. Room, whilst clean on the surface was ridiculously dated and tired, black mould and damp throughout the bathroom. Shower scalding hot or ice cold with nothing in between. Travelling through the UK/France and Spain every year with dogs and a toddler your become accustomed to a certain level of clean, friendly budget hotel but this is place just needs knocking down, avoid at all costs.
