Not the best
The floor was wet near the adjoining door, everytime someone flushed the toilet at night, there was a loud noise. The walls are paper thin, i could hear my neighbour sneezing, coughing & snoring. Also the restaurant was advertised as closed, when it wasn't.

The hotel is very dated. It was clean but the toilet leaked onto the floor. This must have already been reported before our stay as it was significantly bad. We advised reception. Only 2 small pillows provided for 2 persons and only 2 towels. We needed to ask for pillows and hand towels. No tumblers provided and 2 odd cups with a small amount of milk for hot drinks. We felt the mattress was thin, cheap and springy. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We felt the room was very mediocre for the price where we could have booked a more premier room elsewhere for a similar price.

The staff are so friendly and can't do enough for you. They make sure you have all you need to make your stay a pleasant one. The room was fine but the bed was a little 'bumpy' hence the lower overall score. It's easy to find and has lots of parking. It was so clean and didn't have the 'run down' look that some hotels have. Will definitely stay here again.

Great week stay with great staff
Staff at reception and restaurant were really cool, great smiles and little laughs, which helped made my stay a more happier one. Room was big enough, and confortable to sleep in. Was quiet through the night, considering a lot of workmen stay there overnight.

Stayed here before and was ok. No thrills basic but clean. Although this time the mattress was very cheap. Didn’t matter how I layed I could feel the springs. Also we pushed the bed up against the wall so my boy would not fall out and found a small package with a devil on it. Remnants of white powder inside. I understand you can not control what people get up to in hotel rooms but clear signs the cleaners do not go under the beds. I did hand it to reception but no offer of partial refund or free breakfast was offered. Considering I had a child in the room and he could have been the one to find it.

Good stay again
Have stopped here the last two years for the touring cars , hotel is clean prices reasonable the get parking is free and plentiful , bar and restaurant are clean and priced reasonable, however bothe times the beds are not the most comfortable, but I've had the same room both stays so could just be room 205 that need new mattress, Will return when around brands hatch again ,

Room too hot - no air conditioning. Bathroom extract not working. No bath mat. Not enough loo roll. Paid £90 for each night for two days. Would not recommend for that price. Need to spend money on maintenance.

The room was way too hot (only 17 degrees outside) with no fan or air con and windows that dont open far due to the H&S locks. Sensible as jumping becomes a good option. Very thin walls and doors so you hear everything (literally) from rooms around and below you, as well as from the hallway. Everyone having their windows open doesn't help much with the sound issue either. Mattress was great, you could feel every single spring which means those of us with less imagination can count springs instead of sheep when the heat and noise keep us awake all night. One pillow per person which is less than an inch thick, guess it makes it harder to smother yourself in despair. And the towels are perfect for people who only wash their hands, I'm guessing they shrunk in the wash. To counter this, the shower sprays out the side and onto the floor, so you only really need the towel for your feet anyway no matter how long you're in the shower. All that said, the room was spotless and the staff were all really friendly and helpful.

Hmm.
We booked two rooms but they were literally in different blocks. Not great for a family, and reception said no other options available. There was a lot of noise overnight -metal clanging, like beer kegs being unloaded. Staff were friendly. Not sure if rush back.

The overall stay was really good and the staff were really good when my boyfriend fell asleep and I couldn’t get back into the room haha, however the pillows are so thin we woke up with sore shoulders and I had to go and get some comfortable pillows

Very poor room. Double bed had mattress with springs protruding through material. One very small pillow. Room smelt of disinfectant. Shower bath slippery to foot. No lift to upper floor location and no assistance with luggage at check in. Breakfast area unsupervised - no one available when we entered at 9am. Had to go into the kitchen to gain assistance. Our name had not been logged for breakfast despite paying for this at booking. Was escorted out to reception to prove this - where receptionist confirmed our booking. When finally admitted we ordered scrambled eggs on toast this was provided as an egg which was not mixed properly before cooking and was clearly just a fried egg which had been mashed up after cooking. In all this booking was a disgraceful example of robotic ignorance and attempting successfully to provide the absolute minimum quality of accommodation.

The bedroom was very basic but clean. The bed was old and very lumpy. 2 pillows provided and had to request another 2. No maid service for the 2nd night although fresh towels were left in the door handle. Bedroom block not secure as residents kept leaving the main door ajar. Restaurant not available in first night and food very poor on the 2nd night. Would not recommend as the price is expensive compared to the facilities provided
