The bathroom had not been cleaned properly there was rubbish in the room from people before. I rang the hotel on the day i left as left a bag in the room and they have not responded to me left my number and rang 3times to them. Fire alarm went off early hours in the morning woke up me and my 4children no one come to say what was happening noise outside from someone screaming wasn't pleasant either.

Pros: Convenient for Channel ferry; comfortable beds
Cons: Fire alarms are far too sensitive and shouldn't wake up the entire hotel just because one drunk person decides to ignore the no smoking signs
I've stayed here three times, mainly when catching an early ferry. The location is great, rooms are comfortable, especially the beds, and bathrooms are fine (although the showers need a bit of updating). On the whole a step up from Premier and Holiday Inns and my first choice for an overnight in Dover. My most recent stay was a disaster. The hotel fire alarm went off at 1.20 am - and not just any old alarm but a 100 decibel shrieking siren. It went on and on, with no one from the hotel staff offering any help. Just as I was drifting off to sleep 45 minutes later the screaming started - a lady in the hotel car park who was plainly in serious distress. I was putting on my coat when I saw her escorted inside by another couple - no sign of any hotel staff. I'm an early riser but the other guests who may have wanted a lie-in on Sunday morning were foiled by the fire alarm again at 8 am, and then a grand finale at 8.15 when I was in the shower. I didn't stay long enough to see if it carried on. That and the black curly hair twisted into the shower head convinced me I should go. At check-out the clerk was apologetic and said a guest had tried to smoke in their room. This may not be the hotel's fault but surely the other guests shouldn't be punished for the actions of one stupid person. The lack of help or even recognition that a lady was in distress was explained as a 'typical Saturday night'. If that's typical here I will opt for a quiet night's sleep and stay elsewhere in future.

Came here with our best friend for a night and what a pleasant experience it really was , clean rooms and polite staff. Unfortanulatly didn't use the reatuarant as had to leave early but look amazing, the place is just amazing and would defiantly recommend to friends . Keep up the hard work 🙂

Pros: All our needs were catered for
Stayed at the hotel while visiting family in the area. It was during a cold spell but the hotel had very warm and comfortable. All the staff were polite and helpful. Good location and plenty of parking . Will use again when in the area.

Pros: A good all round experience
Cons: Internet kept dropping out BUT when I reported it they called the service provider and then it was fine. A reliable internet is expected in a hotel,
Location: Loads to see and do and roads are good,
Enjoyed the stay and food, Good location to explore Dover and the surrounding area.

Mostly ok but close vicinity to A2 and radiator that wouldn't turn off made for an uncomfortable night.

Pros: The staff
Location: Walking the white cliffs of Dover, easy ferry access and Dover Castle
Staff were very helpful and pleasant even with all the stress of the holidays. Close to Canterbury for boxing day

Wheelchair accessible accommodation

The room was the first on the ground floor - nice touch. However, my shower chair/commode wouldn't fit over the toilet. Good price.
