Nice and friendly hotel at a quiet seaside town.Posted Jun 22, 2016
Pros: Staff were highly friendly and welcoming, the rooms have character and the breakfast was nice, the bar at night gets full so its a nice atmosphere.
Cons: The parking is slightly annoying but other than that everything was nice.
Location: The hotel is on the beach front, I suppose in the summer its heaving with people but when its cold its literally a ghost beach with no one there.
The website states free parking but the hotel car park isnt free. We did notify the hotel and they said they would inform headoffice to have this changed. Rooms are nice and cosy, nice views, bathroom is basic but room is homely. The staff are excellent and friendly, breakfast is amazing with good choice and fruit buffet. The area itself is very very quiet, not much to do apart from go for quiet walks. Drove to Canterbury and Margate for more entertainment which was fine because when you want to sleep you dont want drunks and party people outside.

Lovely hotel on seafront by pierPosted Jun 17, 2016
Pros: Location. Spacious room. Comfy bed.
Cons: Parking, but not much can be done about that!
Location: The White Cliffs Walk (approx 10 miles) is beautiful. Best fish & chips across the road from the pier (can't remember name) beware the seagulls!
Stayed overnight after walking from Dover to Deal on the White Cliff walk. Location of hotel is fantastic, no allocated parking unfortunately but plenty of pay and display parking nearby. Room was huge, with a massive bed and quirky decor, loved it. Decent breakfast with a choice of dishes to order. Would definitely stay again if returning to Deal.

Poor, over rated single roomPosted Apr 15, 2016 on Hotels
Pros: -Staff is good -Location -Atmosphere in the restaurant - Breakfast Cons: -Room was ok but the flooring was making lots of noise on walking and that's irritating -Not sound proof- couple next door were chatting till long which was disturb - It was written that room service is available on request but when asked was told no -Over priced for such room. Can get better sea front rooms at cheaper rates in Deal (within 200 yards of the Royal) May be double rooms are better looking at the pictures but single room is not that great to pay ask these extra money when the room is not even sea facing.

Enjoyable one night stay - right on beach front and close to main town. Excellent breakfast. Adjoining car park ideal but fairly expensive at £8.25 per day. Nice Spitfire Gold if you like real ale!

The place to stay in DealPosted Feb 29, 2016 on Hotels
Great hotel, the staff were attentive and friendly, food wes great. Overlooking the sea and pier, its position is fantastic. If you dig a little, Deal has a lot of history, from pirates and smugglers to the Royal Marines. The late Queen mother lived in Walmer Castle just up the road.
