AN AMAZING RESORT!

Posted Jun 24, 2015
Pros: EVERYTHING!
Cons: I can't think of anything that could be improved.
Location: Try dinner at the GLEN ELLEN STAR! Fabulous!
Kenwood Inn and Spa is a beautiful property which made us feel like we were in Europe secluded and away from everything. From the moment we entered the front door, the staff, ambiance, quietness, and beauty surrounded us. The room was luxurious, clean, and overflowed with romance. As we enjoyed the property, we kept noticing little beauties around every corner. The pool area and large spa were just lovely. The dining area is wonderful offering outdoor seating or indoor seating along with quaint fireplaces and candles. The breakfast which is included with the room is wonderful. BUT... the staff of the Kenwood Inn and Spa really make this place special. Kyle is over the top with service, personality, and grace. Thank you! A stay that will always be close to our hearts.

Weekend away for reaction

Posted Jun 15, 2015
The hotel was gorgeous and we loved the wait staff for dinner and breakfast; however, we were not pleased with the large loud crowd that we had on Saturday evening we were looking for a quiet meal . This was definitely not what I expected from a hotel of this magnitude and for the cost.

Thank you so much for your valuable commentary. It is always a precarious balance with social groups and our weekend get-away guests. I'm sorry that your dining experience was not as relaxing as you had hoped, but I'm happy to heat our team was exceptional. All the best, Michael

Yet another wonderful stay at the Kenwood Inn

Posted Jun 9, 2015
This was our third visit to the Kenwood Inn and it was just perfect. The hotel is so beautiful with grounds that make you feel as though you are in Italy. The service is always exceptional as you are greeted with a glass of champagne and waked to your room. When you arrive at your room, the fire is flickering and music is playing. The bed has a feather bed topper and a fluffy down comforter. The linens are so soft and luxurious. This trip we made a point of spending as much time as possible at the resort instead of heading out to do wine tasting right away. It was so nice to sit at our little cafe table on our patio and enjoy a cup of coffee and the morning sun. The saltwater pool is heated to 87 degrees and surrounded by chaise loungers. We spent a couple of hours relaxing there and dipping into the pool now and then. They have free snacks and water available throughout the day poolside as well and you can order an assortment of appetizers to be delivered poolside if you prefer. The onsite restaurant provides a lovely complimentary breakfas selection each morning which includes mimosas, fresh baked coffee cake and muffins, fresh fruit, house made granola as well as a small menu of hot items like Eggs Benedict or Ricotta Pancakes with sausage or bacon. They also offer dinner in the evening which we have enjoyed during past visits. The Kenwood Inn and Spa is a place that I hope to return to many times. It's so quiet and lovelu you can't help but rest and relax.

Romantic relaxation

Posted Jun 5, 2015
Pros: The ambiance, the service, the food.
Cons: Don't mess with perfection.
Location: Near wineries and fun shopping, but secluded.
My husband and I were lucky enough to have stayed at the Kenwood Inn and Spa last weekend as a gift for 25 years with the great company I work for. We were in desperate need of some time away and a little r&r. Kenwood did not disappoint. From the moment we drove up we could feel ourselves start to relax. Zachary, at the front desk, made us feel like visiting royalty while he personally showed us to our exquisite room. The view from the balcony, looking out to the lush hills and vineyards beyond, was nothing short of breathtaking. Double doors led us into an oversized room with a fireplace, jetted tub and a huge beautifully tiled shower. Our dinner that night was both incredibly romantic (seated in the outdoor patio, directly in front of the warm glowing fire) and plate-lick worthy…….no we didn’t actually lick the plate, but seriously had to resist the desire to do so. Our massages the next day held much the same experience. The woman that checked us in was warm and inviting and once again someone blessed with a gift of making others feel very special. We received complimentary sparkling wine and water and off we went to yet another beautiful private outdoor alcove above the pool where we received side by side massages from two talented therapists. Though we thought we would go out and do a little exploring of the local area, we never left the grounds. We have vowed to make this destination our “go to” escape whenever we need to unplug and recharge.

You definitely work for a great company if they value your contributions so much that they send you to the Kenwood Inn and Spa for that much needed R&R. I am so happy to hear that you both had such a wonderful time and I am looking forward to welcoming you back soon!! All the best, Michael Collins

Special anniversary getaway

Posted May 23, 2015
This was not our first time and will not be our last. The area, the grounds, and the room are special. The staff is both attentive and nearly invisible as needed. Just a beautiful stay at a beautiful place.
