Poignant room odor!

Cons: Look into why your rooms smell so bad. Would you want to sleep in your rooms?
Room had a very poignant odor. I don't know if it was the cleaning products they use or that the room was freshly painted! Not many hotels in the area to choose from. I just couldn't get over the room smell. Staff was friendly.

Pros: Everything was great!
Fabulous hotel! Comfortable bed! Yummy hot complimentary breakfast! Great hot tub for relaxing! Super friendly staff!

Nice stay for visiting relatives!

Rented a room for relatives who were coming in from out of state. They had a great stay. The check-in was easy. The staff was friendly and helpful. The relatives said the room was clean and quiet. They particularly enjoyed the breakfast served.

Go to Hampton inn instead.

The hotel from outside looked fine. The lobby was a little outdated, but the room was the worst. It looked clean enough but the smell of cleaning product couldn't hide 20 years worth of dirty hotel room, the whole building needs to be sterile or renovated. Breakfast was my last straw, the food was fine and the staff was super friendly but the water smelled like cockroach, that included all juice and coffee, basically everything that had water in it. They need to sterile their water source too. I'm not very picky about my hotel. But for $100/night, I expect it to be at least better than Motel 6.

Pros: Pool area was very nice and well maintained .
Cons: Some of the furniture in the room was beginning to show wear .
Location: Lots to see and do in the Keokuk area-nice booklet in lobby area that tells you everything to see and do..
Enjoyed our stay here-the staff couldn't be more friendly and accommodating .The gal taking care of the breakfast area was so pleasant ! Staff made us feel right at home-had family over for pizza and they opened up the dining area and told us to help ourselves to paper plates etc . Will be staying here again !
