The Cherrytree Guesthouse had nice size rooms and the breakfast was delicious. Our host was extremely nice and answered any questions that we had.

Buono x pochi giorniPosted Jul 8, 2015
Pros: Colazione e posizione
Cons: togliere la moquette e mettere mensola e appendini per asciugamani in bagno
Location: Posizione strategica in zona spettacolare

Very friendlyPosted Jun 4, 2015
Pros: Location and friendliness
Cons: Rooms made each day might be nice. Drying facilities for wet gloves( motorbike)
Location: Excellent location. Five min walk to town. 10 min walk to the bike fest venue.
Guest house was super friendly and relaxed. Run by a lovely funny lady called bridey. Could chat with her all day if she wasn't so busy. Rooms were comfortable. No frills service though. rooms were not made each day. So if you don't mind that then it's great. Clean towels available if you asked. Perfect location. Half way between town and the bike fest.

Not quiet a CherryPosted May 20, 2015 on Hotels
We had a fun time in Killarney. We decided to stay another night and booked on Hotels.com but even with a confirmation number they told us they had no more rooms. The accommodated us with their attic apartment that was not really ready for renters. It was okay but there was a running water noise behind a wall that prevented us from having a good night's sleep.

Will never return; not recommended!Posted Apr 5, 2015
PROS: close location; a five minute walk to the heart of the city; very nicely decorated downstairs; clean and updated bathroom in our room; the two woman working in the morning were so friendly. CONS: We had a hard time finding the location. The building is no longer pink (like in the pictures). It is beige. The sign on the street says Cherry Tree, but the small sign above the front door says "Saratoga House." When we arrived, all of the lights were shut off inside the house. There wasn't a welcome sign. We, by careful examination, found a small doorbell. It wasn't so easy to find at first. Luckily someone answered it. We were let in, but the person didn't turn the lights on for us. We went out for dinner, and when we came back, there was a really unpleasant fish smell in the entire house, including our room upstairs! I absolutely love fish, but this smell was beyond nauseating. We had to keep our windows open, and it was a very cold night. It still smelled the next day. I couldn't even stay in the house to eat the AM breakfast. Will never return again, and that's a shame. We had really hoped to have liked it.

Great Location - service not so greatPosted Feb 3, 2015 on Hotels
The owner met us on arrival and was very friendly. We were shown to our room, which was clean but very small. The heat was on full but the room was a little chilly nonetheless. In the morning, service for breakfast was abysmal. The orders were taken firstly by a guy who couldn't really speak English and then they had to be taken again (10 minutes later) by the landlady - my order was still wrong! The dining room is also quite small so if you came down late, you would have to wait until someone else finished, or else join them. The location is brilliant - 5 minutes walk right into the centre of Killarney. However, there are so many other options in this area for accommodation, I wouldn't stay here again.
