Good location away from the crowd in Dingle and close to everything. The room was small but comfortable and breakfast was delicious. The owners also make home made pizza which was also delicious. I would stay there again.

Decent B & B with friendly staff & good food. Bathroom facility very tiny. Squeezing into & out of shower would very difficult for anyone of stout build.
This was the PERFECT place to stay! Lovely owners, wonderful room with a very comfortable bed, breakfast was delicious and they have laundry service! The little town was such a welcome change from the crazy, tourist filled town of Dingle. Very close to Dingle and all of the local sites. The pizza was heavenly. The highlight B and B of our trip!
This property has everything you’d need or want as a traveler. They even offer laundry service which was awesome for us! Super friendly staff, delicious breakfast, clean room with the best shower and hot water. The staff was knowledgeable of things to do in the area and surrounding towns and gave us the best route to go see the Cliffs if Moher. Great spot for fish and chips down the street. Post office down the way. We will be going back!
Not only were Brian and Beata the most gracious hosts, but they also provided medical assistance when a member of our party took a severe bump to his head. Brian and Beata took over with amazing TLC and offers to take us to the doctor down the road. Now that is full-service!! We will be back on our next trip for sure! Thank you Brian and Beata!
We were welcomed warmly by the guy who runs the B&B/Inn and he gave us some good information about areas close by. Breakfast was great as there was fresh fruit waiting for you at your table in the morning and there was a good selection of hot items as well. Rooms were simple but clean for the age of the place. Parking was easy and free which is why we booked here.
Nice village within easy access of Dingle and the sights of the peninsula. The hotel staff were very friendly, it was good value and provided a full Irish breakfast to fuel us for a day of walking. The North Pole pub is just a short walk away and provides good food and beer.
We found the location to be very convenient to the places we wanted to go. An extra added treat was when we came back from Church and found the sidewalks full of sheep waiting to be judged! It was incredible local flavor that we couldn't have planned for.
Brian was very helpful by giving us direction to do the things we wanted.
Exactly what we were looking for in a small village in the beautiful Dingle peninsula. Quiet area with pubs close by, easy access to the Dingle Way with castle ruins, beaches and more. Great local history and an innkeeper team that makes your stay perfect with great service and a wonderful breakfast!
The room was spacious and had all we needed. The staff there were friendly and very helpful. They went above and beyond to help us get some laundry done (we were in the midst of a long journey) and give us special help when I developed a cold. Breakfasts were delicious and had special touches on the different mornings we were there. Annascaul itself doesn't really offer much besides a couple pubs and small convenience store. We explored Dingle and the Slea Head Drive during the days. It was a good base for that. Easy to find your way around with google maps. The B&B itself also makes yummy pizza in the evenings for dinner if you don't want to go out, or if the weather is dismal.
This is our second visit to the Old Anchor. The room was spotlessly clean, and the breakfast outstanding---a wonderful variety of yogurts, breads, cereals, and hot foods. Beata and Brian are kind friendly, and attentive. What's not to love?
We were made to feel very welcome here. Our room was delightful - at the back, so not getting any road noise at night. Annascaul is a good base for the Dingle peninsula and there are enough pubs and eating places a short walk from the Old Anchor Inn so that you don't have to drive out anywhere at night. There was an excellent choice for breakfast.
We loved our stay at The Old Anchor Inn! The owners are super friendly, our room was lovely and the breakfasts and pizzas are great. We hope to return to the area sometime soon and both agreed we'd love to stay at this B&B again.
This is a really cute B&B and the owners are really friendly. It is in a location where you really have to go out and about (unless you're happy with a couple of local bars) but all in all a good choice for our business trip. Just one comment is that we found the times offered for breakfast quite limiting. Really if you are working group away you really need to be getting breakfast by 7am not 8am, however most of the people staying there seemed to be walkers etc. and it may just be us that needed the earlier breakfast. That may be a comment that the owners may like to take on board, however all in all its a lovely place, lovely owners, very clean and would easily recommend for anyone looking for a stop over in the Dingle area.
Bryan was very helpful and nice! Recommended things for things for us to see, do and eat. We had booked one room and since he had other rooms available, he let us get another room free of charge for us to be more comfortable, this it self was sold me, I would stay here again. The food is great too!! Love the pizza! He had movies for us to borrow and watch in our rooms! Thank you!
We absolutely loved the B&B! Brian was very friendly, provided us with recommendations on b&b in other cities we were visiting. The room was spacious, clean, sunny, and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious with different options of food. Quiet town but great location on the Dingle Peninsula.
Brian was a wonderful host. He went out of his way to be friendly & provide information about the area to us. Breakfast was very good. Although the family room was pretty tight for the 3 of us, the beds were very comfortable!we would definitely stay here again!
Brian and his wife were amazing hosts. The room was huge, with comfortable bed,and immaculately clean. Also, the room was considerably better value than staying in Dingle, which is only a 15 minute drive away. Would stay again for sure!
Nice home like atmosphere. Excellent host, good food and nice clean rooms. Small room with two singles but had an ensuite bath.
Good quiet nights rest in a small town. Great grocery store down the steet with anything you might need.
Lovely B&B in a perfect location outside Dingle. Food was amazing - try the bacon & pancakes for breakfast, and the pizza on the dinner menu was gorgeous! Bright and clean room with everything that was needed. 5 star rating!
I stayed for one night. The owners were friendly and helpful. My room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was wonderful. The weather was good so the area looked its best. It was a stress-free stay. Recommended.
Most enjoyable stay.Great welcome.Very helpful.Well looked after.Food first class and plenty of it.Beautiful countryside and lots to see and do.Staff most courteous and obliging.Would certainly recommend it to others.
Nice bed and breakfast a little outside of Dingle. Good breakfast, nice room, and great staff. A couple of pubs just down the street doing live music was a plus as well :)

Simple but nice.
It's a quiet little place to stay, at least during the off-season. The accommodations are simple but comfortable enough. Brian and his wife are lovely people and their breakfast was very good.
Really nice, clean, comfortable, QUIET place in a lovely town just 20km scenic drive east of Dingle. Brian was more like a friend than just our Host! We felt very welcomed from the moment we checked in. His prices are so low for the quality of the experience we felt compelled to add a significant gratuity.
We decided to stay outside of Dingle. The area caters to hikers (we only hike from pub to pub), there are 5 B&Bs and a few pubs on one street. The owners were very nice, the rooms clean, breakfast made to order
The owner was very nice from checkin to checkout. The room was minimalistic. TV only got 2 channels and you had to go into the hall for internet. Lots of rust in the bathroom. We expected a more comfortable stay based on all the great ratings. I would pay a few dollars more for a more comfortable place.
This was a lovely B&B and had a full-service restaurant, which we wished we could have tried for dinner. The location is a short drive to other attractions. Very quiet, peaceful, clean location. The staff is friendly and helpful. We would go back again.
Get past the blue carpet and you'll discover a lovely home away from home. Brian and Bea are the perfect hosts, kind, attentive and a wealth of information about the area. I had wonderful breakfasts and dinners in their restaurant and it felt so decadent after weeks as a budget traveler to have a DVD player in my room. I will definitely stay at The Old Anchor Inn again when I'm in the area.
We were on a tight schedule and had to leave before breakfast, but our host offered to get up early to cook us breakfast. This was very much appreciated!
The Old Anchor has terrific service. The people who run it are sincerely friendly and are good at what they do. They offered good suggestions of nearby sights. The location is a good distance from Dingle, however, so I recommend that those staying there have a rental car. There are some restaurants & pubs within walking distance, however. The room was small for a double twin, but it was clean & comfortable and the place has a nice vibe.
We had time management problems after just starting our journey around Ireland and didn't get to Brian's until 8.30pm. He had closed his kitchen but cooked us a great dinner and even found us accommodation at our next stop in Galway. Beautiful little village between the coasts. He is a great cook and made the best coffee I have has on this trip.
Bea greeted us with a smile and advice about visiting Dingle. The room was neat and comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. We enjoyed our stay at the Inn.
