Hi, I am so sorry for the delay in responding. I am the new General Manager for the Edgewater Inn. Nice to hear that the staff was nice and helpful with tips of the city. We are actually in the process of changing brands and becoming a Clarion. As that happens great changes will be happening. Including reopening the restaurant, so you can chose the breakfast. I hope you get a chance to visit us after the changes happen. Thank you for staying. Jeri Kemp General Manager Rodeway Edgewater Inn Ketchikan, AK 99901

Great place! Definitely stay here again. Room wasn't all that big but comfortable enough, very clean and a great view.

This hotel is fine for a short stay.

Cons: Restaurant on site.
The Rodeway Inn was comfortable and clean the room are of average size and the staff was very friendly and help us shuttle to and from the ferry and a place to eat. There is no longer a restaurant working at the hotel which was a bit of a surprise but they do serve a good breakfast in the old restaurant area.

This is a rather dilapidated property. Our "garden view" room viewed a parking lot, not a garden. It is also a good distance away from town and requires a taxi ride to go anywhere. It is convenient to the airport, the only plus for the property.

Nice view of ocean inlet

Posted Aug 21, 2017 on Orbitz
Pros: Staff very friendly. Room clean. Free breakfast and shuttle service.
Cons: Lunch or dinner at the restaurant would be great, Currently they are planning to remodel so it wasn't available.
Location: We could walk into town. about 3 miles. But they would shuttle you ,too. All the shops, the meeting place for all of the tours were downtown.
We had an enjoyable time. Breakfast every morning was very satisfactory,. Staff was very helpful and provided free shuttle service into town and back and fort to the airport. Room was small, but cozy and very clean. Would stay again if we go back to Ketchikan,

Always stay here when in Ketchikan. Quiet location away from downtown. Ocean view rooms have good view.

Very clean, great staff. Quiet, except for the float planes, but that was entertaining. On the water, nice bar and restaurant. Plenty of big towels.

Nice. Convenient Location.

Posted Jun 6, 2017
Pros: The view is the best part - relaxing quiet, watching the cruise ships, eagles and sea planes go by. The mountains and water views are mesmerizing.
Cons: Breakfast is adequate, if they had a chef or a "good" cook the ratings would soar. This is not a hotel its a motel, the onlinephoto is the restaurant.
Location: The location has a bus nearby and shuttle to downtown - it was easy. The hotel van was reliable and helped transport from airport.
Nice Motel for fishing town standards. It's different, you have to appreciate it for what it is. It's a good place for drinks at the end of the day. Lots of history and inspiring stories from locals. The staff Natasha, Phillip and Nicole were friendly and helpful. (Thanks for the bottled water) Remove the burnt coffee from the front desk area - refer guest to dining room for fresh coffee. Alaska in general is expensive for food, there is a Walmart in walking distance.
