Great Stay
Nice little hole in the wall place very cozy and not a long drive to Green Bay to the Packers game. The only thing I wish they had was breakfast.

The highway started getting busy at 4:30 a.m., boats, trucks, motorcycles, but it was actually interesting to see summer tourism in Kewaunee! The convenience store across the street is ideal! The harbor area is so nice!

For probably 30 or 40 years, this was a great little place to relax: quiet, near the lake, with very helpful staff. It had a little pool, jacuzzi, and deck. We used to go once or twice a year for many years, then more recently couldn't go for several years. When we were able to return recently, we were extremely disheartened to find that the new owner has no idea what the "hospitality" business requires. we had booked this online and stated our expected arrival time in the evening. when we arrived there was no one at the front desk and when this guy finally came out he was rude, annoyed by our business. over the weekend we saw no additional staff. The deck was overgrown with weeds, the pool and jacuzzi were closed. The balconies, which used to be so pleasant, now have those cheap extremely bright LED lights which ruin the experience of sitting out in the evening enjoying the quiet and the lake. Not recommended!

Beware horrible beds and service!!!!
Where to begin. First the hotel would not accept a Visa gift card for partial payment. The person at the hotel kept telling me that it must not have any money on it, even though it still has $200 on it. We got into the room turned on the heater and the heater and it smelled like a dead mouse was inside of it. We had to air out our room. The rest of the hotel room was clean but the bathroom still smelled. The bed was as hard as a rock like sleeping on a palet board. Woke up early because we could not sleep any longer. Went and did what we wanted to do was gone for about 11 hours. Came back to a halfly made bed. Garbage was taken. But no new towels for the next day. Also found the cleaning ladys winter hat in our room. Went to sleep woke up extremely early because we could not sleep in the bed any longer. We decided to check out a whole day early because we couldnt take it anymore and needed to sleep in our own bed. Turned in the room keys said if there was a way to get a refund for one night. Woman said I would have to call at night when the owner is in to talk to him. Everytime I have called no one answers. I would advise not staying at this hotel. If you do sleep on the floor maybe you wont have to go to the chiropractor like I had to.
