We are Backroads Inn and Cabins. Our property lies in Echo Valley. 8 acres surrounded by National Forest. We are the essence of the Black Hills, yet minutes away from everything people come to see, like Mt Rushmore (2.4 miles) and Custer State Park (15 minutes).

This cozy, one-room cabin is set apart from the others, tucked away amidst the pine trees. Its queen-sized bed, fold-out chair (twin) and twin-sized day bed in the front sun porch make ideal for a small family or a couple's get-away.  With a small (but full) kitchen, gas grill and private fire pit, you'll have everything you need.
Guest accommodations at this cabin offer air conditioning. Rooms open to balconies or patios. Kitchens offer microwaves and cookware/dishes/utensils.

Clean & cozy and close to everything
We really enjoyed our two night stay with our two kids (12 & 9). We only wish we could have stayed longer. The cabin was the perfect size for us; it was clean and super cute. My kids loved the s’more’s kit provided by the owners and I appreciated the ground coffee for the coffeemaker. The grounds were lovely and just a short 15 minute drive from Mount Rushmore. Highly recommend!
