“The staff was very helpful. However, in the 10 minutes that I was parked on the street while the staff person was trying to sign me up for a nearby parking garage, I received a parking ticket for 100 pounds Stirling. My only recourse was to pay a 50 pound reduced fine if I paid it right away without contesting it. A very inhospitable end to a fine trip. That's no reflection upon the hotel. A very bad reflection upon the City of Glasgow. The parking attendant must have been watching for us……

“Easy check in with large spacious car park at rear. Very comfy bed and good quality linen. Only 1 chair in room when there was room for a 2nd - I hate having to sit on a bed in a hotel room. Nice clean bathroom, with big fluffy towels. Luggage rack and large wardrobe space. Iron and ironing board, plus hairdryer. No usb sockets, but plenty of 3-pin sockets. Our room was in the basement but was very quiet, and we slept well. Little box of treats in room and a kettle with tea, coffee and……

“The hotel itself from the outside was lovely, the breakfast was great and staff were fantastic. The hotel rooms are very very dated and could be done with some TLC. For the price I paid for one night, I felt there are better places to stay out there. The fact in this day and age we were still given a key for our room door let you know how dated the hotel is. Unfortunately we had picked a night to stay at the hotel when there was a wedding on and there was alot of noise in the corridor and people……

“Amazing stay at Cameron House. We were given a room upgrade to a suite on arrival and had wonderful views over the loch. Have always loved staying here in the past but hadn’t visited since the reopening. We were thrilled to be back and all the staff were so friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. We were blessed with fabulous sunshine all weekend too. ”
