It is true you get what you pay for. I would stay there again. I was comfortable and felt safe. The staff was friendly and helpful. The furniture is very old and possibly outdated. The rooms could use a deep cleaning, that is, shampooing the carpet and sofa. Also, dusting then applying furniture polish. We had three rooms. The mattress cover should always remain on the let out couch because the mattress is not very attractive. The free breakfast was good. I enjoyed my stay and would stay again. I don't like the fact that they allow animals to stay at the hotel.

Old and Used

Pros: Location
Cons: Overall facilities
Very dated room and facilities. Bed had no top cover and the blanket in between sheets shredded when picked up from age. Iron was missing and the one provided barely worked. Plenty of other issues but the overall feel was old and used.

Absolutely no parking when i got back to my room. I had to park at the hotel across the street. Toilet was horrible in the Room, that i had to switch rooms

Weekend Getaway

Close to freeway.

Very clean, comfortable room. Amenities are awesome. We always try to book at a Hawthorne Inn & Suites!

Late checkin; they were ready for me.

No problems or hassels. Clean room friendly people. I was in and out quickly and only issue eas a litle noisy outside.

Good location, run down property

Bad smell in the room. We stayed for Christmas weekend and no hoy breakfast was served on Christmas Day. Overall, not great stay.

Started off rough. Reserved a smoking room and was told there want one available. There was a problem the first three days with no hot water. On the fourth day was switched to a smoking room and was comped for one free night due to the problem faced in the first 3 days
