Only thing I found cool was the fact there was a stove. The room was dirty the bathroom had a smell. I asked for clean lining three times never received it. Tv keep freezing really wasn’t work $80 a night

Key cards were not programmed right so we got locked out of the room and no one would answer the front desk. Night time front desk staff left at 9 and never came back the excuse given was that she is also housekeeping so she was tired.

There was dried urine on the toilet no extra toilet paper no napkins no cups no Kleenex no paper towels no clock other guests were rowdy and partying and loud and Obnoxious the police came my first night. Door could not open all the way it got stuck in the floor. Floor of the bathtub was very slimy. There was a huge gap around the whole front door anybody talking outside sounded like they were in the room. The lamp between the beds which was my only lamp did not work I checked to see it was plugged in and it was not and there wasn’t even an outlet between the bed to even plug it in it was just there for show.

My check in was pleasant. I really enjoyed the kitchen amenities and slept well. The only issue I had was that there was hair shavings around and in the sink. As though the area hadn't been cleaned.

The only thing that I liked was the pet friendly and location. The rooms were terrible, skimpy on towels. We were worried about getting bed bugs.

Stay close to the VA
The room I had was clean, bed was comfortable and it was easy access to the VA Hospital. I wish the kitchenette would of had a dish or two and silverware though.

This stay was unlike our other ones which were good. I needed to work from the hotel room. The wireless was awful and I had to use my phone, the office chair was broken and I asked for new one. Was told it would be done twice. I had to go to goodwill and buy one. The towel rack was not mounted and came down and their was no maid service on this stay.

FILTHY & NOT.at.all an old hotel w/rustic charm...
Older place w/much potential to be a rustic charm, BUT, room FILTHY @ check in. Dried urine & pubic hair on toilet, no TP & trash from previous guest still in trash cans. No towels/toiletries. Had to call for towels & TP, wife had packed toiletries so that didn’t matter so much. Towels never arrived, had to go to the office to get them. Not one utensil/pot/pan for stove, which still had old food crusted to it. Room NOT cleaned each day. After returning from work, our prior night’s dinner trash was still in the trash as well as the previous guest’s trash. Beds were unmade & towels still on the bathroom floor. Originally booked 5 nights, however after wife tried to {initially politely} call the 3’rd night & discuss w management the condition of the room & quality of the stay, as she was the one who booked it, we decided it best to end our stay early and go elsewhere. Manager was BY FAR the rudest person her or I have ever spoken w. Completely & unnecessarily hostile & defensive & on several instances actually implied my wife & I were being untruthful about not only a booking misunderstanding, {accidentally reserved the room for 2 adults instead of 3 on the app, completely & admittedly OUR mistake} but also the unfortunate condition of the room & hospitality experience. Unwilling to attempt to make it right for the remaining duration of the stay, even after Hotels.com reached out, resulting in a reluctant refund of 1 night, better than nothing & still worth an early check out.

Many issues unfortunately. To begin rooms are extremely old and rundown. Walls and paper thin. Windows are thin and cracked. Found roaches in my room shortly after check-in. Other guests were outside on the stairs grilling on a personal charcoal grill and fighting with each other. Stains all over walls and ceilings. Sheets were stained. Black specs of mold or something on the pillow cases. Due to the numerous issues attempted to get even a partial refund but was denied. Ended up letting them keep the money and staying elsewhere to save myself the filth and anxiety of a sleepless night.

Was right across the street from VA Hospital! Was designed like a studio apartment for over stayers that needed the VA. Asked for non smoking! Received non smoking, but it reeked of a smoking room! Rooms all around were smoking so it was the stench of smoking was coming through bad!!! Woke up sick, couldn’t breathe, puffy eyes and face, due to sleeping in the room! That reeked of smoking Staff would not bother to refund me or anything to to to make up for it! Won’t be back!!!!

When someone calls for an overnite stay or two or three nites you should tell them they need to bring all glasses or other needed kitchen items. Bring Kleenex and paper towels.

The room was horrible. Dirty with stains on all the linen and chairs in room had dried dirt on them. The smell was so bad we could not stay. Of course there was a no refund policy and we were gouged because it was late on the Memorial Day weekend Will be a long time before we use Expedia again

Avoid this place
First of all I came in late and had to speak through a tiny bullet proof glass. When we get into the room it’s filthy. Dead bugs all over. The stove was dirty and stained. The bathroom walls were sticky. All of the mattresses had stains on them and the boxsprings all looks gross. We booked for three nights and upon seeing the room asked to leave immediately. The person up front said I already paid and couldn’t get my money back. Called Hotels.com and they helped me get my money back and leave in the morning. If you aren’t strapped for cash or down on your luck avoid this place. Everyone that I saw there did not look like the best people and I thought my car was going to get broken into the entire time there.

After checking into the room, I discovered the phone wasn't working when I tried to call the front office to get a wake up call. In addition, there wasn't a hair dryer. I walked to the front office and an and tried to report the problem but no one was there. Nor did anyone come after I stood there about 15 min. The second night we switched to a smoking room. It was dirty and everything in the room was older. Soon after we moved to the smnoking room, we discovered that the air conditioning wasn't working. It was hot and humid and very uncomfortable trying to sleep under those conditions.

This stay was awful. The check in service was fine and the lady was kind, but the hotel itself was unclean and unsanitary. I would not walk on the floors without shoes on and I had to dry off with a hand towel because my towels were both covered with something black. The area was unsafe and some of the tenants of the hotel made it uncomfortable and a concern for safety.

The bed was comfortable the room was semi-clean had an older I like the fact that it had a kitchen but no coffee pot and no ice machine my bucket but overall it was an outstanding place to spend the night the clerk / owner was willing work for me to ensure that I got a room down on the first floor wish me and my wife was unable to clam to the second floor thank you so much for very wonderful stay this is my second stay in Temple.

I could smell smoke but not strong in the no smoking room. After shower, I used bath towels but I felt like the towels like sandpaper. I felt comfortable on bed. The service seemed friendly.
