Lovely place! And the people are greatPosted Jan 29, 2013 on Hotels
What a great find. I had an early meeting one morning and the staff made sure there was breakfast for me even though I had to leave before breakfast started. I would definitely stay here again!

The Inn at SaladoPosted Mar 7, 2012 on Hotels
Our stay was most enjoyable. This Bed and Breakfast was just what we were looking for. The property itself was built in the 1800's, and is listed as a historical landmark. Each guest room is unique, and some even have a fireplace. The location was very close to the Main Street shops, as well as many of the local restaurants. I would recommend The Inn at Salado for anyone looking to get away from the daily grind of modern living.

We stopped on our way to North Texas for Christmas. The Inn at Salado was decorated beautifully for Christmas and the staff was superb. Breakfast was wonderful with a wide variety of choices. We will be back.

Great stay in SaladoPosted Jun 25, 2011 on Hotels
My wife and I had a really nice "getaway" night here recently. We stayed in the Tyler room - a great large room with a king size bed, sitting area, and private bath with a clawfoot tub/shower. The B&B and surrounding grounds are very nice. We had the entire house to ourselves the night we stayed, so it was like having our own old house in Salado for the night! The full breakfast was exceptional - quiche, bisquits and gravy, belgian waffles, and fresh fruit. We would definitely come back and stay here again.

DisappointedPosted Jul 11, 2007
The biggest issue we had with the hotel was mold. I am asthmatic and was hardly able to breath. Secondly, the hotel says "gourmet" breakfast. I don't consider biscuits, gravy, fruit and a quiche gourmet. I was expecting waffles or pastries made from scratch. This was more like a continental breakfast.
