Door bangers paradise!!

Posted Oct 14, 2017
Pros: Not much.
Cons: Most everything.
Location: Limited dining choices because of the off season (Fall)
There must have been a convention of door bangers when we were there. Nearly everyone staying at this hotel must have been on the same floor, and they were door bangers. No consideration of the disruption caused by letting the guest room doors bang shut when entering and exiting. The entire floor/wall would shake when those doors slammed shut. The hotel could at least consider adjustable door closers to decrease the noise and vibration. Bathroom floor was sticky, floor around toilet didn't appear to be clean, urine on floor by the toilet. Minimal bath amenities Restaurant/Bar had limited menu choices for dinner, and the service staff was not very friendly. They were to busy looking busy to bother with customers. Took their time acknowledging customers and very slow filling requests for drinks. Would not service tables, guests had to order from the bar for drinks and food. Jacuzzi users had to walk thru the bar to get to and from the Jacuzzi, not very appealing. Breakfast was not too bad. Had to remember this is a ski resort that tries to operate in the off season, but doesn't do a very good job.

Quite nice

Posted Oct 11, 2017
Pros: Location
Cons: Window cleaning and improved plumbing. Our toilet whined like a baby seal after each flush.
Location: Great location for day trips for seeing fall foliage.
It was a nice facility and nice staff. There is such pretty outdoor scenery that it would really be a nice investment to have clean windows. They were very dirty and I usually don't take notice of such things.

Great common areas, disappointing rooms

Posted Sep 29, 2017
Pros: Location. Common areas are great. There's plenty of opportunities to wander and sit outside your room if you feel like it.
Cons: Rooms: lighting, air conditioning, overall cleanliness
Check-in was long, the lobby was super noisy and the staff looked overwhelmed even though there was just another couple arriving at the same time as us at 7pm. The hotel is conveniently located and has great common areas to spend spare time (though the indoor pool is really outdated and not inviting). The breakfast is served in a nice setting and is good, served in real bowls and plates. The room looked nothing like the online pictures we had seen. The small portable air conditioning unit in the room was not functioning well, not making much more than a lot of noise. The room was dark, smelly and in need of a fresh coat of paint and a new bathroom venting system. All outdoor windows, in the room and common areas were either very very dirty or in need of replacement; when sunny you can barely see outside. That left us with and overall feeling of untidiness, which we did not expect for the amount we paid.

Great Location and Pleasant Stay

Posted Sep 22, 2017
Pros: Great location near all of the restaurants and Killington Golf Course. Good prcing. Loved the outdoor 20 person hot tub and room balcony.
Cons: Our only complaint would be that the room Air Conditioner did not work and the bathroom sink drain was very slow.
Location: Great location! Convenient to many restaurants and golf courses. Centrally located for day trips to visit a walk to Woodstock and Queechie Gorge.
We booked online and stayed for 5 nights in September 2017. I would stay again and would reccomend it to friends.

Hot and noisy

Posted Sep 18, 2017
Paid an extreme amount of money. No air conditioning and could not find any food at 10pm at night. Killington was not ready for the amount of participants for the race.event

Thank you for responding. We apologize for the difficulties with your air conditioner during your stay. We did have several people request that we add a later food option for next year and we will be doing that. We hope that you give us another try next race.

Great location, nice facility.

Easy check in. Nice facility, however, our beds needed to be remade and the room needed to be vacuumed.

Hotel in Killington, Vt.

Posted Aug 3, 2017
We owned a townhouse on the Killington Acess Rd. for 15 years. We are familiar with many of the hotels and restaurants on this road. It is an excellent skiing area. We picked this hotel because it had an indoor and outdoor swimming pool. Also a 20 person hot tub outside with 2 fire pits. The Killington Mtn. Lodge is on a challenging golf course and in the summer you can still ride the gondola to the top of the mtn. Around the other side of the mtn. there's a huge lake area (seems like 3 lakes) backed up by a mature Hemlock Forest. You have quick access to the towns of Woodstock and Queche. We go up every summer for a week to visit all the places we enjoyed when we owned our townhouse. We will continue to stay at this lovely lodge.
