The hostel is basic and not at all fancy but its clean, functional and cheap - so very good value. Excellent buffet breakfast - with lots of variety - and very friendly - chilled staff. So for me - it gets 5*****!

Hotel in the middle of Kilpisjärvi village
Perfect for any activity in the middle of Kilpisjärvi village, close to the lake and the shop. Room was a bit outdated, but clean and comfortable.

Overpriced
Very overpriced considering the state of the place. Very small sized room for 3 persons (supposedly 20m2), bathroom in poor condition

Definitely nothing special
Facilities are definitely old and that shows in everything. The service was amazing and they definitely care for their clients. Breakfast selection was average and boring, but clean and good.

New and clean sauna with it's facilities. Amazing view direct to Saana-fell from sauna's terrace. The hostell itself has seen it's best days. And it really needs face-lift. Everything seems like 70's. But the very good breakfast, the hospitality of the personnel, reasonable price and the good sauna with a view compensates the almost dilapidated facilities.

Hotellet har väl sett sina bästa dagar och ger ett lite "risigt" intryck, framför allt utvändigt. Betydligt trevligare på insidan. Fin natur runt om, härlig bastu med fin badplats nere vid sjön.

Kilpisjärvi
Ljud utifrån som störde nåt malande som gick igång nu och då, dags för en renovering av rummen, det behövs. Maten fantastisk åt 2 kvällar och Essi som severade var oerhört trevlig och kunnig. Roligt med Renarna som vandrade runt hotellet.

Sijainti hyvä, kauppa lähellä. Paljon P-tilaa. Hotelli kulunut, parhaat päivät nähnyt. Koirahuoneet kätevästi omassa siivessä, jossa oma uloskäynti. Avulias ja ystävällinen henkilökunta. Hyvä vaihtoehto tukikohdaksi eräilijöille - tulemme uudestaan.

Korkea hinta tasoon nähden
Huone oli hostellin puolelta ja se kyllä kaipaisi kunnostamista, myös siivoamisen tasossa olisi toivomisen varaa. Hinta yöltä oli korkea huoneen tasoon suhteutettuna. Positiivista oli hyvä aamiainen ja rantasauna, jotka sisältyivät huoneen hintaan.

Aamupala erinomainen. Mukava henkilökunta ja sauna. Sijainti ei voisi olla parempi. Huone ja sen haju aivan kamalat. Ikkuna auki koko ajan sekä päivällä että yöllä niin siellä pystyi jotenkin olemaan. Hinta-laatu suhde erittäin huono.

Ei vastinetta rahalle
Huono hinta-laatusuhde. Maksoin 150e/yö huoneesta, jossa oli haiseva muovimattolattia ja ainoana mukavuutena tv. Teen sai haettua respasta ("vain" 2e/kuppi), harvassa on ne hotellit joissa ei ole vedenkeitintä käytettävissä. Kulahtanut yleisilme, mielikuva ketjun hotelleista on kyllä ihan eri kuin tämä kokemus. Aamupala oli kuitenkin hyvä.

Majoitus erinomaisella sijainnilla
Majoitus sijaitsee hienolla paikalla, josta komeat näkymät ja lyhyt etäisyys Kilpisjärven palveluihin. Erinomainen aamupala. Retkeilymaja on jo hieman kulunut, mutta se on myös erittäin tilava.

Wi-Fi skulle finnas på rummet men det fanns inte i hela den delen av byggnad, inte ens i det gemensamma utrymmet. Symbolen kom inte ens upp. I reception sa de att det kan vara svårt ibland. Fanns vid receptionen. God frukost. Underbar miljö nära vattnet med bastu och fin badstege i ljuvlig natur.
