Your avarage motel

Posted Nov 19, 2015
Pros: The bed was very comfortable, got a good night sleep. Breakfast was good and having a computer to use is always a plus.
Cons: The decor needs improvement to say the least but then again the most important thing to me is the bed and that was just fine.
Location: Just passing through
After a long day of driving being dead tired and having a hard time with directions to the hotel it was a pleasure to deal with the hotel clerk she made me feel much better. Would stay here again

On old Route 66. Close to downtown Kingman.

Posted Nov 15, 2015
Old motel. "Clean" rooms, but our bedsheets had old stains and were ripped. When we asked for new ones, they, too, had old stains. Desk chair was inappropriately sized for the space--it took up too much room and was just in the way. The yellow glow from the light bulbs intensified the depressed look of the rooms (our party rented 3). They have a great collection of Rte 66 memorabilia off the lobby, but the lighting and the wall paint need improvement. My traveling companions found the lobby furniture unclean. Tables & chairs for breakfast were barely adequate, and food was greasy, besides the kitchen running out of milk by 8am. Overall, the public area had an old, greasy-grimy aura which contributed to feeling unsafe.

The photos look better than the actual property.

Posted Oct 21, 2015
Pros: Very comfortable bed.
Cons: The whole building needs a major remodel or total reconstruction.
Location: It's actually on highway 62/180 which goes to the Carlsbad Caverns. Near the motel there are restaurants on Airline Blvd. which is not far.
No problems with check in, we were upgraded to a suite. The room had a living room, kitchen and separate bedroom. The king size bed was very comfortable. The carpets seemed clean at first, but after walking without the socks that I wore all day and then going into the shower, a lot of dirt came out the bottom of my feet which were clean since I had socks and shoes prior to checking into the motel. The floor on this unit was very soft and wavy like it's rotten under the carpet and tile floor. This motel was built in 1955 so it's pretty worn out. The lobby was very nice and so was the pool. The free breakfast was actually very good and the room for the breakfast was very large with nice tables and chairs. This place needs a major remodel or a demo and new construction. The street located was actually the one we needed to take to go to the Carlsbad Caverns which is 62/180, so that was a convenient location. I might stay here again if I couldn't find anything else better for the price.

Great breakfast

Posted Oct 11, 2015
Pros: Route 66. Historic.. Great breakfast which was included
Cons: Bathroom facility. Needs updating overall
Stayed for one night on a business trip. Centrally located. Although the room was clean it could use some updating. Staff was very friendly and the morning breakfast was great.

Quality? Not so much

Posted Oct 6, 2015
Pros: Breakfast
Cons: Hotel could use a good makeover, room by room.
Location: Would not stop in this area again. Several homeless people around and we were approached by three within an hour (at grocery store & fast food place)
Hotel check in was friendly. The room was on the low end of the clean scale and the bathroom was downright disgusting. Take a look at the pictures. That perfect rectangle in the middle of the tub is the bath mat, you can see the build up on the grout in the shower and the ceramic was peeling. Smelled like old recycled smoke was being circulated when the bathroom light/fan was on. I used an old pair of flip flops to shower in because I didn't want to step in barefoot. The Kleenex box cover and hair dryer barely hung on the wall. The walls are so thin you can hear your neighbor's hair dryer as if in the same room with you. It's a very old hotel in a less populated area. Appeared the rooms are adjoining which doesn't help with noise level. The bed was pretty comfortable. The breakfast room was run down but the breakfast itself was one of the best. You're probably wondering why we didn't leave.... we paid for it in advance and it was 11 hours on the road by the time we got there t 8:00 pm. We've been really pleased with Super 8's this year. Just might have to make them our go to for overall value and comfort.

Right in Kingman

Posted Sep 26, 2015
Pros: The staff, especially Jesse Wiggin. Good service and very helpful giving information on local places to visit.
Location: Good location.
This is not a new Hotel but the most is made of what is there. A lot of Route 66 memorabilia were in the lobby and around Hotel. Breakfast is also very good. We would go back there.

Clean reasonably-priced place to rest

Posted Aug 22, 2015 on Hotels
We were looking for a place to sleep on our way home. Kingman is really a a basic road-trip stopover location and this was a reasonably priced, clean and thoroughly acceptable place to rest there on the last leg of our journey. The Wifi was weak, our main issue
