Convenient stay on our way to the Grand Canyon

I found the room to be clean, smoke free, good lighting, large bathroom. Next to the train, so there's that. The hotel fan is quite loud, but I haven't found one that isn't. On the main drag through Kingman, convenient to restaurants. Staff was great. Recommend the third floor.

Decent hotel

Close to the interstate. A decent hotel to stay at.....a bit over-priced!

Lumpy Beds

The claim they have breakfast but it was a joke. Toaster waffles, bread for toast, apples, juice and cold cereal. Beds were extremely uncomfortable and made sleeping nearly impossible. Pillows were so soft that you didn’t get any support from them at all. Was not impressed at all

Check-In Time was 3pm. Room was not ready.. As guests would come in, front desk would contact maid to tell them what rooms to clean. We were told they were sold-out the night before. We were also told we had to wait for 1hr. We asked since there was a delay in the room being ready, if we could check-out 1hr later, lady said no. No effort of reasonable accomodations was made.

We were tired from our long day in the car so didn’t get out. Room was nice. Complimentary breakfast was not much at all. A little disappointed. Oversll ok.

Pros: We ended up with a room that had a faulty bathroom light, it was very dim and kept flickering. Other than that the room was clean and comfy.
They hold a large amount for deposit and if you use a card they also hold an additional amount...I payed through Expedia, but when I got to the motel I ended up giving a little more than twice as much as what the actual room cost. They told me these holds will be removed in a few days, so be aware that you may end up with these holds, although I talked to a couple of people in the lobby whom did not get all the holds I ended up with...idk...

Slept Well

Staff was friendly and very helpful. Limited breakfast variety compared to other hotels that we have stayed at. Really has no "Dog Walking Area," had to go across alley in back to big field area, dogs didn't mind it.

The room smelled. The shower curtain that was cloth looked like BM or something dark brown smeared on it. Very out dated. Took forever for hot water.
