Nice stay overall, but I felt the bathroom could have been cleaner. Also some of the bathroom fixtures are starting to rust with age.

Just what I was looking for

Pros: Nice and clean,modern,and the room was well kept. Staff was helpful with suggestions about my excursion. location was convenient, close to Interstate
Hotel was hard to find,the signs not big enough.But once I got there, the check-in was quick and easy, the room was fine,and my overall experience was good.

All My Meds and Belongings in room, locked out

Pros: Leaving it.
Cons: Train staff in basic customer service, and educate them about the many ways door entry cards can be defective.
Location: There was a nice Fairfield Inn with polite staff close by.
First room sounded like a B-52 was in the AC. Next room, key wouldn't work. Tall thin woman re-keyed cards, but they still only worked about 20% of the time. All my medications and other belongings got locked in the room. I had someone else try, and they couldn't open door with card either and came downstairs as a witness. The woman continually blamed me for the defective room card even when she couldn't open it. After 2 dozen tries by her, it opened. I grabbed the cart and put all my belongings back in the car and went to another motel. If I had not been able to retrieve my meds, I would have to be hospitalized within 2-3 days, if my high blood pressure didn't cause a stroke. Expedia offered a voucher, but said no refund. I called the corporate office of Microtel, who were shocked and apologized. The next day, the motel claimed they had sent a check to Expedia to refund me, but tried to start another argument. I hung up. They obviously don't understand anything about damaged magnetic strips on door cards.

Was greeted by a huge bug on my pillow!

Other than the huge bug that was sitting on my pillow when I first walked in the room the hotel was nice

ok for a quick stop over

the staff was very kind, helpful and friendly but the hotel is quiet run down. the breakfast was better than expected which was a perk. the room beds were awfully uncomfortable making for a cranky ride home the next day. good for a quick night over between destinations but don't expect much.

Turn in at the BP/Dunkin donuts

Pro: good hot shower, comfy bed (not pillows), window seat a unique feature. Con: found hairs in some of linens, on toilet and in sink, also on the foot spread and pillows. TV was very dim. Had to reset clock and microwave time to current time. The sleeper bed in the sofa would not go all the way down, and cushions were stained and old, covered with extra blanket.
