Upon arrival, no staff, no working bar or restaurant. Was told to get keys ourselves. Every door in the place was open. Room didn't have a lock. Mouse droppings found in room. We left immediately and didn't stay. Maybe there're going through some changes and will emerge better, but for now, do not recomend.

The staff were very gracious. It’s an old inn but that’s part of the charm. Lovely wrap around front porch and beauty greenery surrounding the property. Very quiet.

Historic hotel in the woods.
An enjoyable stay but disappointed that the restaurant wasn’t open. Alternative restaurants suggested. Stan was a great, host. Breakfast was excellent and the hotel was very clean.

Old but cozy
Overall the stay was nice but you need to realize and accept that you’re not staying in a new hotel. It’s well maintained but it’s over 100 years old and mostly everything seemed original. Kind of like staying at your great grandparents house!
