Re-investments in facilities and motor car area.

Pros: Location is excellent.
Cons: Complete renovation.
Location: Location is outstanding.
Place definitely needs an upgrade. That says about it all.

Beautiful view from our room

Pros: Nice room and great location
Cons: Turn up the warmers under buffet food.
Location: Everything is within walking distance as far as sights to see and restaurants
The only downside was the breakfast buffet was cold, even the coffee. Great variety of food but cold.

Terrible Room

We where quite disgusted with the condition of this room. It seems they stuck us in 1 of 4 wheel chair access rooms that have not been renovated since it was built. Gloomy, dirty and the wheel chair shower drain was plugged causing all water to move through into main drain by the toilet. Not very sanitary to take a shower , get clean and then walk in the dirty water. We brought this up to hotel staff and told not much we can do since you booked through expedia. Okay so does that mean that hotels get to wash their hands of guests because the booking agent is not them? Somehow free parking didnt make up for this. I can expect this in a motel but a reputable Holiday Inn at almost 300.00 per night ? Not acceptable at all. We wont be staying there again.

The level of cleaning was not in keeping with the high standard we strive to maintain and exceed. We do sell parlor rooms as a less expensive alternative to travelers and have made all efforts to clearly describe the room to avoid having a situation similar to this occur. Like a frat house Terribly dated

The hotel has not been updated for years. Room are dark and dingy and old. People running in the halls partying all night.

Pros: It's location
Cons: The shower head needs to be changed. Renovations in the bathroom wold be necessary.
Location: It's a great location . There is even a Tim Horton nearby.
We enjoyed that the hotel was close to the water and downtown. We were also very close to the Officers' mess where we were going.

nice view from the room and quiet

Pros: Close to the water.
Lots of stores to walk to close to the hotel and also close to the waterfront with a patio overlooking the lake with a nice sunrise.

Right by water, but stayed at a noisy floor

We arrived wound 7ish pm Friday night & stayed at noisy floor and next room was stayed a couple young adult which is belonged to a Hokey Team. They was running on Hallway and kept makimg noisy all night. I called front desk @11:50 pm to complained and After my 2nd called for the same issue and requested to change room for use, they front desk staff refused , due to full booked and the might staff took long while to settle all the issues. The midnight staff also did not put all the issues in the log book and the morning staffs did not know all the problems about last night. The morning staff gave us a free breakfast for us. Also, The parking lot gate was not working when we leave. I will not recommend to other even though the location is convenient.

Hello Anonymous, Regarding the noisy kids, the Rogers K-Rock Arena is a large hockey arena located close by, which attracts numerous tournaments. Over the winter season hockey competitions run almost every weekend. Each team member must sign a “Code of Conduct” and generally groups are respectful, however, occasionally it takes only a few to ruin it for many. While we do retain security to assist in the monitoring of these groups it appears we were unsuccessful in maintaining an acceptable level of control. Good location!

Pros: Best features- location, pool facility and friendly staff.
Cons: Rooms need some updating and rugs are in need of replacing ( very stained!!!).

Dirty balcony.full of bird droppings.

Pros: Good location.
Cons: Very antiquated. Needs total upgrade or demolished
Location: Great location for walking ,river tours, restaurants and shopping
Dirty,dirty balcony. Bathroom is from the 1949's or 1950's. Beds are comfortable but stupidly too high .
