It's such a shame this place has so much potential.. the lobby was nice but rooms and bathrooms are all way outdated. Dirty carpets tub was chipping, beds had no support, tv was outdated, free wifi worked intermittently, room was a good size. Room was no smoking but smelled like smoke because of some residents that live there I counted at least a half dozen and they were all creepy and smoked like chimneys. The grounds were not kept. My family and I have known this place as skytop but Rodeway has not taken care of it. It's unfortunate that it's one of only 2 hotels in town that I can keep my 2 dogs with me when I travel back to visit. That was the only plus. But felt uncomfortable for their well being having my pups there

Conveniently located, very secluded with beautiful views, walls a bit thin but would stay there again without doubt.

Driveway and parking area not well lit (unsure of where to go once exiting main road). Rooms reasonable clean. Felt uncomfortable with just my daughter (18) and I in lobby and parking areas. old electric-phone chargers didn't stay in the wall.

Pros: Since we reserved this room only as a place to stay in the area in between the 3 day workshop we were attending at Omega Center, we were totally pleased with the value: very clean, great night sleep, fine complimentary breakfast, great view. We sure saved a lot of money not staying at the center.
Cons: We didn't get the requested wake up call. This was okay because we woke up just in time anyway.
Location: The location seems fine. Lots of stuff to do in the area. There is a welcome trailer just down the road. The hotel is set off the highway on a hill

Location: The location was OK. I wasn't really familiar with area.
I felt the room was fairly clean but the bathroom needs major improvements. There is mold in the calking of the tub. The tub looked like it had been painted but a lot of that painting is off. It looked like there was a dirty handprint on the curtain road and the walls needed cleaning. When in one of the beds, you could feel a vibration coming from the room next to us. The breakfast was slim. Nothing hot. It was not a continental breakfast like I have had before.

Pros: Night clerk and room comfort.
Cons: Property and paving. Also, not very nice to see the famous steakhouse shut down and in disrepair.
Location: Great area with Kingston and Woodstock nearby.
Upon first impression, I thought the facility was housing Social Services folks. Loud music and several young men that appeared to be in rehab. Only saw a couple of cars as well. The clerk however, was very pleasant and extremely helpful in locating a restaurant with good lobster. He also upgraded my room. In the morning, there were quite a few cars indicating that more rooms had been taken. The continental breakfast was okay. I did suggest to the owner, who came on in the morning, that it would be nice if there were tissues in the room. He showed me that they had received an order, but had not yet placed them in the rooms. Overall, I would only stay there to save money.

Water came out of the tap black, then milky. No grounded outlets, very uncomfortable beds, 10tv channels that came in blurry, restaurant started on Expedia closed 3 years ago, poor location. Can't believe this was one of the Expedia special surprise hotels. Surprise you just got ripped off, listed on Expedia for 70 took the 51 dollar buy the unknown hotel, rooms were 45 at the front desk. I think there was also an hourly rate. Never again...
