$1,200 (Canadian) per week, great value for our U.S. friends.
$4,000 per month, seasonable rate (May to September) $7,500.
$225.00 per day also available, minimum three night stay. Saturday to Saturday preferred for weekly rentals. Reduced rate for May and after Labor Day.
Great boating (boat launch less than one kilometer), fishing and swimming! Plenty of Bass, Pike and Walleye. New dock. About 6ft deep off the end of the dock.

Tranquility

If your looking for Peace & Tranquility this is the spot, your on an Island that has 2 Ferry services, West side big Ferry, East side small Ferry, 3 Vehicle limit. Kingston to the west, Gananoque to the east. Once on the Island your in your own little World. Nobody to bug you, no stores that means no shopping. You have to go off the Island for that. If you like the big city go to Kingston, I preferred Gananoque as it had a Metro & all the Fast Food chains, plus it was quaint & easy to get around. If you don't like TV this is the spot for you as you only get 1 channel that being Global Kingston. The views of the River are peaceful, Fished from the Dock but didn't have luck but that could have been the time of year or conditions related to the low water level. All in all enjoyed our week here.

Great Stay on Howe Island

We had a great stay on Howe Island. The cottage is rustic but has everything one would need for a relaxing get away. We were able to get in a swim, the water was maybe a little chilly (it was the end of August after all) but it was super clear. Fred was great. We ended up with a flat tire on our car and he came to our rescue with a compressor to get us back on the road. We will definitely come back in the future!

Brilliant location, thoughtful host

A thoughtfully appointed retro cottage with a wonderful dock and stellar view of the Bateau Channel. Fred thought of everything: seasoned chopped wood for campfires by the water, Adirondack chairs on the dock for lounging in, linens, towels, and a kitchen outfitted with everything you'd need. He even supplied a library of DVDs for evening viewing, as the wifi could be spotty (not a problem for us). Our teen loved the bunkie, reminiscent of overnight camp stays. I loved the retro and unfussy feel of the cottage. Honestly, we spent most of our time on the dock: reading, fishing, swimming, enjoying the breeze and taking in the view. Occasionally, I'd tear myself away for a cycle on the quiet island roads. In all, a wonderfully relaxing vacation, which is exactly what we needed.

Rustic cottage

The place is a rustic cottage with a fabulous deck and a million dollar view of the northern passage. If you're lucky you may see the resident mink fishing, some vultures in the trees, or even hear the coyotes howling in the darkness. There are deer and loons. It's a peaceful getaway with wonderful swimming, just mind the current.
