Lovely hotel

I very much enjoyed my stay at the Woodmark. Although they were doing a little construction, the hotel was absolutely lovely. The staff was attentive and the food was excellent. I visited the spa and they were very accommodating and the massage was perfect. I would love to visit again.

Fantastic Hotel near Seattle

Pros: The customer service, cleanliness and boutique feel.
Location: On Lake Washington, we had a great view of the lake. Great restaurants on site.
My wife and I were looking for a weekend get away to celebrate a special occasion. We have never stayed at the Woodmark Hotel and were blown away by their fantastic customer service. From the moment that we checked in, the Front Desk went above and beyond to make our stay one that we would remember and in our mind that starts with the little things. We were offered a glass of sparkling wine and a bottle of water as we checked in and while that may not seem like much it set the tone to the rest of our amazing weekend! Matt at the Front Desk asked if we were celebrating anything special and when we shared why we were visiting he went out of his way to take care of us. The Woodmark offers a complimentary shuttle ride within a few miles of the hotel which was very convenient for us as we were eating dinner down in Kirkland. Upon our return from dinner that evening we had a hand written note in our room along with a very nice surprise to celebrate our special occasion. While this was our first stay at the Woodmark Hotel this will definitely not be our last. Thank you Woodmark Hotel and especially Matt and the Front Desk team for making our stay so memorable.

Peaceful location with exceptional view

From the moment we drove up to check in and the whole stay the staff was excellent. The room was clean, comfortable with beautiful view of the lake. Worth the price.

Definitely a good deal for the location

Generally beautiful nicely appointed hotel with a great location on the waterfront and near downtown. The hotel has great amenities but is showing its age a bit. We had a few issues with cleanliness and smell, and the staff was very responsive to us.

Not worth the lake view.

My room was over $500 per night plus a $15 amenity fee (what was that about?) The room was very small. The shower was a plumbing nightmare. But a couple of blasts of cold water does wake you up. Taking my roller bags up and down the three steps to my room was an issue since there was not a ramp.

Staff didn't tell me where to park my car

Staff at front desk were disrespectful. And people staying here pay a lot of money for one night. Also room has paint chips all over making it look cheap

Great relaxing view of Lake WA

RELAXING. not much more to say. Service was attentive, the lobby and library space were great to just sit and read. Perfect stress fee getaway close to Seattle

Still great...with some "annoying" thrown in!

We've stayed at this property a number of times and always look forward to goinf back...but we are annoyed they've embraced the mentality of "ammenity fees" - also known as resort fees and generally considered by most people I know to be a money grab. There are NO AMMENITIES available to me that were not there originally. If I go to the spa, I pay. If I go to the restaurant, I pay. The concept is disappointing - always thought this place was a notch above...now just another follower. Just charge me the nightly rate you need to operate your business and don't insult me with this ridiculous surcharge. It's disrespectful and beneathe your beautiful property.
