“The renovated property was nice, we didn't have much chance to take advantage of the amenities. Unfortunately the price I paid on Expedia didn't include an extra fee I was asked to agree to before check-in, so the price wasn't transparent. The only other hiccup was when our room key wouldn't work after the second night, but the front desk was helpful.”

While the property is not in a remote location, it is relatively enclosed with obscured views of nearby residential streets and houses. The guesthouse features a relatively small number of rooms each with individual external access. The rooms open to a central courtyard with external seating outside of most of them. “The Inn La Loma was a beautiful and peaceful place to stay, The pictures on the listing don't do it justice.. The innkeeper was very welcoming and informative. The breakfasts were delicious!! I expected a pretty cursory affair as they often are, but it was made to order and was made up of several courses. I strongly recommend! I can't wait to return for a longer stay.”

“Delightful, modernized adobe compound with only 7-8 comfortable and inviting suites. Breakfast was served at a communal table with glass drinking glasses, ceramic plates and mugs, and metal cutlery. The rooms also had glasses and ceramic mugs. Comfortable chairs and beds. I would have liked better lighting, but still better than most hotels. Good restaurants and shopping within walking distance. There was a thunderstorm one afternoon and it was so nice to stay in our room, cozy and comfortable.……

“This property can be valet only at random times, be advised they do not lend out luggage carts. You will have to have the valet wait while you select the bags you want them to bring up the room. It’s awkward following them on foot while they park your car, then they watch you while you select which bags you want brought up. This system does not work well if you do not want your bags handled by someone else or do not want anyone else knowing what is remaining in your vehicle. The valet was very……

“The front desk people were unfriendly and sat in their office while we waited in the lobby to check in. When asked about the area, they seemed annoyed that we were interrupting their siesta . The parking was a problem due to tree trimming and there was no elevator to get to our second floor room. Not worth the price.”
