Too expensive

Posted Sep 21, 2016
Pros: Beds are confortable
Cons: The lady told us that she was closing the breakfast buffet at 9 when we arrived at 8h45 It is too early and we felt rushed...not pleasant!
Location: You need a car..nothing around
The quality of this hôtel, who is not old is desappointing The pool is in very poor condition, parts of the ceiling are falling down everywhere! Very expensive!

Nice family hotel

Posted Sep 12, 2016
Pros: The front desk check in, the pillows, the pool.
Cons: Breakfast. I know it sounds petty but we specifically stayed here because of the hot breakfast included, and it was a big let down.
Location: It's close to the highway, with not much else around. Get in your car though and there's tons. We went to St Jacobs, which was about half an hour.
The front desk was super helpful. She checked us in about an hour early, let us know of upcoming renovations, and told us the pool slide times (and that we should avoid them if we wanted a quiet swim as there were lots of families - useful information!). The pool was nice, though you can tell it needs a facelift. It was really warm and clean. The whirlpool wasn't great. It was actually a bit cool compared to the pool. The room was nice, with a big bathroom, pretty comfortable. The A/C ran very well. Unfortunately breakfast kinda sucked. We chose this hotel specifically from the others available so we wouldn't have to go out for breakfast. It turned out to be a big let down for a 'hot breakfast'. The only things that were hot were greasy sausages and rubbery (out of a bag) scrambled eggs. My boyfriend was pretty upset about the lack of bacon. I tried a waffle from the waffle maker, which tasted like cardboard. No toppings to go with except fake maple syrup. Coffee was also awful, so we stopped at Tim's on our way home. The only things that were good were the boiled eggs, cereal, and bagels... which are available at most other hotels as part of their 'cold breakfast'. Overall the pool made up for the lack of breakfast. This hotel looks perfect for families. The location is right off the highway, within driving distance to downtown and restaurants.

I'd return for the warm pool alone...

Posted Apr 22, 2016 on Hotels
Nice stay, good facilities. A tad pricey compared to other comparable hotels. Small but very warm pool - which was terrific - along with a hot tub (not that hot, but at least the jets worked, which isn't always the case at hotels. Not the greatest breakfast, but it was free. Had two one-night reservations; had to check out and back in the first morning.

We booked a room with 2 queen beds and upon check-in they did not have any of those rooms available. They upgraded our room to a king suite with a pull-out couch. The room was great! Clean and comfortable!

A perfect family vacation spot

Posted Apr 4, 2016 on Hotels
This is a great hotel for families. All areas of the hotel are spacious and comfortable. It is convenient to have a fridge in the room. The swimming pool and pool area were perfect for our children and the access hours were good. Breakfast times were sufficient to allow a bit of sleeping in. Staff were so friendly and helpful

Good Stay. Very Accomdating.

Pros: It was clean and had a swimming pool with slide.
Cons: Breakfast could be improved. The sausages were alittle dry.
Location: Location for resturants and casinos was good.
The staff was very polite and helpful. We had a variety of restaurants to choose from. both casinos were quite close.
