Life Saver

Posted Aug 25, 2015
Pros: Its very quiet, clean, and has both an indoor as well as an outdoor pool.
Location: Close to African Lion Safari which is fun for the whole family.
After having to leave hastily from our AWFUL experience at a Knights Inn in Scarborough, myself along with my wife and 3 children ended up having to drive all the way to Cambridge to get an available hotel. Luckily the hotel was not only available, but very accommodating, comfortable, and quiet. I couldnt thank the staff enough for their exceptional service.

Fine for a one night stay

Posted Aug 25, 2015
Pros: Comfortable beds
Cons: Showing signs of age
Arrived late and checked in without issue, front desk staff was pleasant. Room was basic, clean but the bathroom was showing its age. The beds were comfortable with good pillows which was key. Met our needs for a good sleep and early departure, the most important reason for our one night stay.

Visiting friends

Posted Aug 20, 2015
Pros: Location,pool and spa.
Cons: Change or wash carpets. And maybe price match rates if we find a lower one on the web.
Location: Not far from the main roads and shopping and restaurants
The hotel is nice. Could use upgrading carpet wise, they do not seem very clean, but as for the rest of the room, very clean, beds very comfortable, pools and spa are very well cared for. Think they need to spend some time fixing outside the rooms. Front looks awesome, but once you drive around to where rooms are, lots of weeds growing and does not look appealing. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Nice central hotel

Posted Aug 14, 2015
Pros: Comfortable room. Nice pool.
Cons: Earlier check-in would have been nice. Four is a little late in the day.
Location: Central location near both Guelph and Kitchener made it convenient for us.
Stayed here because it was central to where we had to go on two days. Good location for that purpose.

Pros: As above
Cons: As above

Nice clean room, comfortable bed. Pillows too thick - gave me a headache. Smaller sizes could also be available. On Site restaurant very good for breakfast. Had a lot of trouble with the door cards not triggering the door lock Had to ask front desk - they had problems too.

Wasn't a very pleasant stay!

Posted Jul 28, 2015
Pros: Not much. The cleaning ladies were very friendly.
Cons: Just about everything needs to be improved. The should start redoing all the rooms and upgrading there air units. The room layout is terrible.
Location: It is close to the 401 and African Lion Safari.
The hotel needs many upgrades! The air conditioning did not work well, it was so hot in the room that you couldn't sleep. We were in a non smoking room, but that is all you could smell. They have no elevator, so you a carrying all your luggage and coolers up a bunch of stairs. We stayed at another Holiday Inn in Bowmanville the night before and it was great!
