A good hotel, with great food next doorPosted Aug 19, 2015
Pros: Location, cleanliness, friendliness.
I went to an event at Bainbridge Performing Arts, and I didn't want to worry about catching the ferry. I decided to stay overnight. The Best Western was perfect: clean, friendly, good location (one mile walk to the BPA for those who don't want to drive). The location, next to a Chevron Station, may be deceiving in terms of food. The convenience food store at the Chevron Station contains a surprisingly good place to eat: Jake's Pickup. The cook (Jake) is creative and my experience eating there reminded me of those hole-in-the-wall restaurants one sometimes encounters in Paris--but with high quality American food. I ate lunch, dinner, and breakfast at Jake's.

Excellent compromise between price and locationPosted Aug 12, 2015
We, as a couple, recently visited Seattle during our holidays. Unfortunately, all hotels were extremely expensive in the city. We found this hotel on the other side of the bay, in Bainbridge Island. The price was reasonable and gave us the opportunity not only to use the ferry but also to visit Bainbridge Island. The view of Seattle skyline from the ferry was amazing, especially at night. Even including the price of the ferry, the hotel price was still competitive relative to the same type of hotel in Seattle. It is possible to go walking from the hotel to the ferry terminal... and even to get a delicious ice cream at Mora Iced Creamery on your way back. The hotel itself was perfect, clean, confortable and the employees extremely polite, helpful and flexible. The complementary breakfast was delicious with diverse, tasty and healthy product. The hotel is at the border of a forrest/park so really quiet at night.

Very nice, clean hotel!Posted Aug 11, 2015
Location: We went to dinner across the street at Plate and Pint I think it was called. Service and food were great. Also got ice cream at Mora which was yummy!
We stayed here for 2 nights and took the ferry to Seattle one day. Great way to go and visit the city, but have somewhere nice and quiet and beautiful to stay!

Gut gelegenes HotelPosted Aug 9, 2015

Could have been better, but not terrible.Posted Aug 5, 2015
Front desk lady told us about the free passes they offer for the public pool AFTER we got back from the pool. That sucked. Expedia advertisement was for two queen beds, unfortunately one of them was the pull out couch.... um, I go on vacations to avoid housework. Making a bed for my kids to sleep on was a downer, but whatever we made the best of it. Overall, it was okay but not terrible.

A Wonderful Experience...Posted Jul 27, 2015
Pros: The staff, the clean rooms, and the services they helped me with.
Location: Great location! Near the ferry stop and downtown attractions. Drug stores and food across the street as well. Great foot at the Plate and Pint!
I stayed on Bainbridge Island for a work event and chose the Best Western as my hotel. The staff was incredible! They all greeted me with smiles and great customer service. They made the check-in/check-out process was quick and easy and suggested some good places I could go to eat. I needed a cab service for the next day - they gave me some good feedback on the best company to use and set up the ride for me The breakfast in the morning was pretty good and hot, not just the usual muffins and bananas, but hot stuff like waffles, eggs, and more. The room itself was larger than I had expected. Was very comfortable and very clean. Didn't find anything in the beds or bathroom as you sometimes do in other places. The next time I'm in the area I will definitely stay at this hotel! The staff made a huge difference and were all super pleasant - from the folks at the front desk to the housekeeping staff I ran into in the hallway and elevator. The room and service were amazing, especially for the cost, you really can't beat it.

Great price-Relaxing StayPosted Jul 14, 2015
Pros: Value, quiet, friendly staff
Location: Bloedel Reserve-a bus ride to the north of Bainbridge Island was AWESOME and well worth the afternoon. Doc's on the waterfront-family dining
We arrived on the ferry about 9:00pm and hiked uphill from the dock to the hotel. It wasn't too hard and was a nice way to see the town and get to know our way around. We were greeted by a friendly hotel staff member. Our room was more than expected for the price. It was clean, updated and very spacious for two people. We were a bit hungry after a long day of flying, train riding and ferrying, so we followed the recommendation of the front desk clerk and walked across the street to The Plate and Pint. The food was delicious and our home team was playing baseball on the big screens. After dinner, we walked back to the hotel ready for a good night's sleep. The bed was comfortable and the surroundings were quiet. In the morning, we enjoyed breakfast in the hotel lobby. A variety of delicious hot and cold foods were available and served with a smile by the gracious staff. We spent the morning visiting the shops on Winslow Ave and walking along the waterfront. Lunch at Doc's on the waterfront was wonderful. There was a great view of the harbor. In the afternoon, we walked back to the ferry dock to board one of the local buses for a trip to the Bloedel Reserve. It is located about 5 or 6 miles from the hotel which doesn't seem too far to bike or walk, but we were certainly glad that we took the bus as the road there is not too pedestrian or bike friendly. The Reserve was so incredibly beautiful-like a rainforest and garden all in one place. Don't miss it.

New facility and clean room with silent A/C. I love it.
