Walls are very thin. Friendly staff, basic breakfast. Was not able to sleep with someone stomping above us.

Had a great time at guest hotel. They accomodated my pup and us very well. Grounds were well kept which allowed for easy access to take pup out.

Ok hotel but a bit old and in need of updates. Shower was only supplying cold or at the most lukewarm water for myself and my wife. Breakfast was subpar so went to a nearby cafe instead. Staff was nice though.

Very clean, nicely decorated. Not super fancy but very pretty and welcoming -- even a fireplace in the front reception and another in the breakfast room. Kind staff. Nice breakfast selection in a clean and pleasant dining room. Very comfy beds and a squakiy cean bathroom with nice shower and great water flow. I would definitely stay here again.

No elevator on the property. Only 2 flights of stairs but if people don’t know that and have a handicap that could be horrible. Carpet and wall decor is so outdated! Paint is old.. very musty smell. Our room floor felt like it was going to give and I fall through. It was scary. The bedding was good and bed was comfortable. Bathroom was so ridiculous small, barely can close the door. Glad we only stayed one night and was at the casino and just had to sleep there. Won’t stay again though

Booked the "romantic" suite for my anniversary. My wife is disabled and has difficulties walking with out assistance. There was no elevator, only narrow stairs. The in room hot tub had no hot water, the jets barely functioned. Definitely wont be staying here again.

If request for first floor is made prior to arrival we can make sure you have a ground floor room or alert you if that is not possible. Liked the staff although vacuuming at 8am is annoying. Liked breakfast and the lobby looks nice. Could hear our neighbors. Paid extra for a jetted tub and the water was rust colored. Couldn't get into the dirty water. I wouldn't stay here again.

Highly recommend
Enjoyed our stay. Very quiet and the dog area was the best ever. Well lit and large area to walk the pup. Room was spotless and staff was very friendly.

It was all very good (comfortable, clean, nice people) except the heater seemed to be slightly sporadic and it was loud.

Our family enjoyed our stay. The staff was friendly and the free continental breakfast exceeded out expectations. Started only one night, but would definitely stay again.

Price was right but we spent a little extra for the in room jetted tub. Unfortunately, the water valve was worn out and in dis-repair. Water from the tub spout sprayed all over and could not get any hot water! The lavatory sink faucet also was in dis-repair and leaked. Toilet room exhaust fan worn out and very noisy. Desk staff were great during check in.

Illegally charge for service animals
Despite providing proof that i had a service dog staying with me, and their agreement at the front desk not to charge me (as required by law and stated in their hotel policies) they added $100 pet fee and ran my card for it. I went to the desk to request it be removed and (again) show proof that he was federally protected from all fees, i was told to “get my proof out of her face “. All i tried to do was show her my ADA card. My service dog is a PTSD dog, legally protected by the federal ADA laws. I kept him with me at all times, and he was wearing his service vest and medical ID tags. The police and hotels.com are working on my behalf in this matter, but please be warned. As they have acted in a vindictive, illegal and deceptive manner, i fully expect an unpleasant response to my review, just as they have done to others who have left reviews on this and other sites. They have changed ownership since they received positive reviews on here (there are banners on the building that they are now red lion). The building needs repair, the breakfast is only moderate, but the rooms are still clean.

Dear Leah, Thank you for taking the time to review our hotel. We are so sorry we mistakenly charged your service animal and a full refund for your pet fee was given a day after your checkout. No one in the building saw your service dog with you during your 3 day stay with us when service animals are supposed to accompany their owner at all times to help through your disability. We do apologize and again a full refund has been provided and a receipt was sent showing so.
