Most important thing to note which Expedia did not highlight is that they have a full board solution at a whopping £150 pp and no a la carte menu meaning it's impossible to order any food unless you pay a fortunte for a family. In the end they were accomodating for us but tricky for the future.
Staff is Ok (a bit of attitude when we asked for service) but for a 4 star hotel it's rather basic: Pool was too cold, towels in the bathroom are small for an adult, dining room chaotic, needs upkeep - some cracks in the bathroom shelves, no coffee in the room, gym is tiny (no more than 1 person can work out in there), no shuttle service (difficult for foreigners without a car), and absolutely everything is charged extra (including the ice skates for the ice rink). We had a lovely time but feel that we were overcharged for the hotel.
