Great hotel with ski storage with locker, right beside the lift. 5 minute walk to the center of town. Room was clean and there were great winter hot drinks.

Great location disappointed with spa area
Great location and very good service. Sad there was no kettle in the room and the spa pool was cold. Particularly disappointing that the wellness area including the only steam room and sauna were nudist and not advertised as such until you arrived. Not fair when I happily paid for those facilities.

Dear Hannele, thank you for the good rating. The pool temperature is 30 degrees. We cannot currently set this higher. It is actually standard in Austria that the sauna area is a nude zone. But it's a good idea to state that in the description. We will implement that. Greetings from Kitzbühel.

Take me back to this hotel! - Kasper Thorsen
I booked this hotel on my way to kitzbuhel from Denmark with breakfast included. I decided to give an extra 60$ for dinner every night because i thought it was a good price. I did not ever expect that the service and the food was such high standard as me and my girlfriend experienced. I booked it on the same day as i traveled, and i knew i would arrive there very late. The hotel wrote me 2 emails when they saw i was not there for dinner and asked if i wanted a plate of food for when i arrived (amazing service caring) and they also made sure i could enter the hotel and get my roomkey even after midnight. This stay was one of the best, if not the best ive ever had. I have travelled to many hotels and experienced alot of different service and food. But nothing could compare to this hotel. It definenlty had the FULL PACKAGE. Excellent and professional staff, waiters and cleaning. And they took it to a whole other level when they showed a bit of concern the last night when we left before dessert was served. Atmosphere and design of the place makes you walk around very comfortable and the table arrangements in the restaurant is so smart (you have your own specific table from day one). Before i wrap it up, the hotel had great spa area with very good sauna cleanliness and options. The hotel cant be closer to the skilift which is very nice, you dont have to walk far with ski equipment. I never wrote a review before. But in this case the hotel deserved it 100% well done. 10/10 ❤

Best Hotel in Kitzbühel.
I have been staying at Hotel Schweizerhof since I was 8. It’s been 21 years and the staff makes us feel like home every single time. Great room, amazing service, wonderful food and people right in front of the gondola. You can’t really have better than that in Kiztbühel. I recommend it 110%!

Lovely gem of a family run hotel
We booked the hotel for the location, right next to the gondola, but would come back for exceptional service, making you feel you're part of the family that runs the hotel. We booked standard room which turned out to be just enough for the family of two adults with the child; pull out sofa was very comfortable, so was our bed. Rate included breakfast, which was buffet style and had all the choices you want to have, including any coffee drink (and their espresso is perfect), restaurant and bar service was very attentive and friendly, so was front desk, that went above and beyond making restaurant reservations for us in a busy season. There was a lovely surprise gift from the hotel on Christmas. Ski room with boot rack with easy access to the street across gondola is huge value, so is pool and saunas and fitness room, and if you're craving larger pool, Aquarena pool complex is just 5 min walk. Village center is 10 min walk and there are many great restaurants, our favorite was Neuwirt. Train station is also 5 min from the hotel, making taking train into Kitzbuhel super easy and inexpensive from any direction. We would love to come to the hotel in the summer as we think it would offer as much in the summer as in the winter time, we would highly recommend the hotel, it exceeded all our expectations, and we travel a lot.

Well positioned and worth a visit
We stayed at this hotel for four nights in September and we used it as a base for some summer hiking. The hotel was perfectly situated for access to a cable car, literally just out side the front door. Great for walking but even better for winter skiiing. The hotel is a 3-5 minute walk into the lovely old town with lovely shops, bars and eateries . The hotel is impressive with a nice spa , sauna (nude only) indoor pool and small gym. We didn't get the chance to use the facilities but they were impressive. There is a nice outside seating area which was in the sun early evening, great for a snack or a glass or two. We stayed bed and breakfast and the breakfast was self service but with a great variety of cereals, fruit, salad, cheese, meat, bread and hot foods. Lots of people were half board and the menu looked good. Staff were friendly and polite and always helpful. We had an upgraded room, which is always nice. The rooms are spacious, warm and beds are comfy with extra pillows and bedding available if you need them. Just take your own conditioner as none supplied. Definitely worth a visit .

Excellent hotel - great hotel and spa
Just metres from the main ski lift, excellent spa with heated pool, steam, sauna, massages available. I found the single beds small but maybe that the standard there as we had the same issue in munich. Good breafast and dinner there too. not much Veg options but chef made me a special veg pasta.

We spent six days at this Hotel as a base for Tyrolean visits. Station only 30 yds away. Half board food was superb - in seven nights there were 30 different dishes, NO repeats. Scenery from the upper rooms was splendid. Only one drawback - no AC nor a fan which would have been acceptable to mitigate temperatures in the 90'sF(35+C). Wished we were 40 years younger so could travel round by bicycle (mountain bike with electric assistance)

Still a favourite after over 20 years
Yes, the receptionist was a bit surprised when I pointed at a photo of the original building and told her that I had stayed at the 'old' Schweizerhof back in 1982. Much has changed since them when it comes to the building but I'm pleased to say that the old fashioned standards of great hospitality and nothing is too much trouble are as good as ever. This time I had a great room with a balcony facing the Kizbuheler Horn, what a sight to wake up to. I have availed myself of the spa treatments, got social with old friends in the stuberl and been very pleased with myself for making such a great choice of hotel. Breakfast was fantastic with too much to choose from, hot, cold and healthy, whatever your needs or tastes may be. I started off being healthy but then, well those scrambled eggs with smoked bacon looked so good, and the soft cheese wih tomato and well, just 1 small crispy breakfast roll with butter and jam maybe..... One tiny gripe, tiny maybe but I would want assurances that it was sorted before booking again. The wi-fi connection. Yep, its free, as it should be in hotels of this price and standard, but it kept dropping out. I don't mean now and again but sometimes after just 5 minutes. that's why I had to complete this review over2 days. Bloody annoying. To finish on a negative would not be doing the hotel justice. That gripe aside it was as good as the reasons that I chose to stay again following my first visit a couple of years ago and if staying connected is somethin

Hotel Schweizerhof, Kitzbuhel - Brilliant!
I stayed at the Schweizerhof about 15 years ago when it was very much a family run hotel, comfortable and good quality but a bit dated. What a transformation! The hotel is now tres chic with alfresco dining, trendy bedrooms, calming therapy centre, relaxing indoor pool and a very modern restaurant. Add to the fact that the hotel overlooks the final schuss of the famous Hahenkamm downhill course, is just 10 metres from the entrance to the cable car and a short stroll into the centre of this famous medieval walled resort - what more could you ask for a perfect winter sports hotel? I have visited Kitzbuhel many times and stayed in about 15 different hotels, Hotel Schweizerhof is very definitely my first choice.

Top-Hotel an der „Streif“
Das Hotel hat uns ausgezeichnet gefallen. Die Ausgangslage zur Erkundung der „Streif“ ist super, da das Hotel direkt gegenüber der Seilbahn steht. Der sehr schöne Wellnessbereich rundet das tolle Gesamtbild ab. In das Zentrum ist es ebenfalls nicht weit. Frühstück und Abendessen sind top.

Erholung in bester Lage
Ein schönes Hotel mit kostenlosen Parkplätzen und toller Lage direkt am Hahnenkamm. Ein reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet und abends mit 5 gängigen Menü. Beim Service ist und besonders Erika aufgefallen. Sie hat alles im Griff gehabt und jeder Wunsch wurde erfüllt. Tolle Mitarbeiterin mit viel Herz dabei. Auch sind die Preise für die Getränke im normalen Bereich. Die Sauna war recht angenehm von der Größe und Anzahl der Ruheliegen. Rundum hat es uns sehr gefallen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Good hotel, but pricey
It's a nice Hotel, a bit Posh and the crowd is yesteryears glory. But the rooms are really nice, not quiet, but up to date and comfortable. The people who, work at the desk are kind and helpfull. The breakfast is amazing.
