Thanks for the upgrade to suite ..very large room. however, the rooms are old and sink was broken. The bed and all the sofa have smells because of too old beds!!! Room service for cleaning needs improvement.

Thai hotel with various accommodation options

Posted Nov 21, 2017 on Hotels
This is a Thai rather than an International hotel, which gives you a true feeling of the country you are in. We stayed in a 3rd floor garden/seaview room which was large and beautifully furnished. There are 2 small pools plus direct access onto the beach. The restaurant is very reasonable and serves great Thai food.

Comfortable and good value

Posted Nov 10, 2017 on Hotels
Bandara on Sea was a very comfortable, well run small resort right on the beach. Although obviously not new the resort was well maintained and everything worked well. Service was very good and the staff were happy to show us various rooms when we asked for a view. Breakfast was very good (except the appalling milk for the coffee) another was a good selection of delicious local dishes and western foods. If you planned to look around the local area you would need a car as the resort is a few kilometres out of town. Overall we were very comfortable and enjoyed a relaxing stay

Secret gem

Posted Sep 23, 2017 on Hotels
Personal favorite spot in Rayong many years. Friendly staff, nice pool, good breakfast and very calm beach with no one else. At the moment there’s a bit noise because they are renovating half of the cottages (other half already done), but no real problem. Renovating the cottages was a good idea, there’s now more space, sofa and shower is better.

Not impressed

Posted May 10, 2017
The staff was excellent, however the room was not very clean, the shower only seemed to have one temp, burning hot. There was only the restraunt on site, nothing near by, not much amenities. And housekeeping came in my room at 9am when I was asleep without nocking even. Front desk staff we very nice though, I booked 2 nights stayed one but payed for both so they didn't charge me for my food purchases, that was Nice.

Perfect for a Quiet Weekend Break, We will be back

Posted Apr 24, 2017 on Hotels
I went for a weekend break with my Husband 10 year old Son and 4 month old baby girl, we all loved our stay at Bandara on Sea and will be back soon. The rooms were nice and kept spotless by the maid's daily service, we had a bath which was a rare treat for us as since we have lived in Thailand (7.5 years), we have only showered. Staff were wonderful and very helpful and hardworking. They seemed to have plenty of staff which keep this slightly dated Hotel/Resort nice and tidy. The Breakfast was fantastic with plenty of choice which changes daily. ***Massage*** They have a lady that comes and does Thai massage when needed and they have a small Spa room. We have been having Thai massage for years and are big fans, both my husband and I booked an hour foot massage each, (at 350 THB per hour), I have to say that it was one of the best massages we have had in all of our time in Thailand, so I highly recommend this. ***Beach*** The Beach is lovely and quiet, we have been to many places in Thailand and one thing that really lets many places down is their attitude towards rubbish. We may have just been lucky but the beachfront looked like it was managed by the hotel so debris was minimal. The beach itself is shallow with clear water although there was a little surf during our stay due to it being quite windy. My son loved this but it was a little rough to play on the beach with the little one. So Bandara on Sea gets a big thumbs up from us!
