This motel is close to alot of things. And very close to convenient stores. And easy access to the interstate. The owner is a man and very polite and is always there. I would definitely recommend people to stay at this location on strawberry plains pike in knoxville, TN.

I was disappointed in my recent stay in that there was no coffee maker in the room nor lamps at the bedsides. There was also no fire alarm & the ceiling light in the bathroom did not have a cover exposing wires. There was also no phone. The bedspread had two holes in the center. I was glad I brought my own cover & pillow.

Bad experience
Requested nonsmoking room but room smelled and stunk of smoke. Floor was dirty, smoke stains on bathroom stool, AC DID NOT work all the time, kept turning off and on.

It was a Motel 6. But I paid more because of expecting at least a breakfast but when I went to the dining area it was only coffee. It was worth $60-70 (which was par for a M6) but I paid almost $100. I will be more judicious next time.

The thing I thought was unique was Joes Apartment was filming a figgin sequel right in my room! I have never seen so many cockroaches in my life. This one taught me how to repel off the ceiling. That must of been when the owner heard "a woman screaming sounding like she was getting beat all night." That's literally the worst lie ever to have a reason to keep my deposit. That room is cleanser when I left than when I got there because I felt the need to take bleach and clean the whole room, floors, toilet, sink, you name it. So, they get a negative 5 stars. This was the absolute worst hotel stay I have had and even if that was the safe zone for the zombie apocalypse, I would take my chances with the zombies.

When we arrived we had to drive through a service station lot to get to it. Then it took me about 10 minutes to get someone to come to the window. Upon going in the room which we had to use stairs it was dirty around the stairs. When I entered the room I noticed holes in the bedspread. Later I was walking around in the room and I discovered that the floor was dirty by the bottom of my feet so I don’t think they mop the floors. I definitely won’t be staying here again.

There were upgrades/renovations going on at the time of my stay. So large discarded items made the lot look a little messy. Their parking lot doesn’t seem large enough for the number of rooms they offer and the driveway coming in on the backroad could be lit up better as well as signage at eye level. Easy to miss at night. The renovations (new flooring, new beds) are nice and I’m sure once they are complete the place will come together nicely.

I stayed in room 209. There was a hole in the wall, spilled coffee, dead bugs, and crusty white spots on the bedding of both beds. The floor was damp. The only thing it looks like the staff does is make the bed(s) and replace towels. The room was disgusting, and I ended up leaving early because of how bad it was.

Disappointing stay
The room didn't look the cleanest. It smelled very strongly of cigarette smoke. I looked at the ratings to make my decision and I wish I hadn't. Should have stayed somewhere else.

I made the reservation for 2 queens in non smoking. When we showed up (2 adults & 2 kids) they tried to put us in a 1 king room. The trash cans all around the motel were overflowing and trash was over the ground everywhere. As soon as we opened the door to the room all you could smell was cigarettes. Burn marks on the comforters, counters, and tub. The walls are thin and we could hear everything in the rooms around us and outside. Definitely wouldn't stop here again.

No problems with check-in/check-out, staff very friendly. Room was on backside of property and was very unkept, trash strewn everywhere!! Outside temp 63° ac set on 52°!! However, bed was very comfortable!
