I’ve stayed at quite a few Marriott’s. Staying in this one was the first time there were any hiccups. First room was slightly musty as I entered. After walking barefoot I noticed large wet spot in carpet. Obvious source of mustiness. I opened the window to let things air out. Sat down to have carry out and watch TV and discovered toilet runs loudly every 30 minutes. I wasn’t going to get any sleep with this going on so I called the front desk. He said there was no maintenance worker at that hour so he’d change my room. Great! I get down to the desk and he asks if I want a room with a balcony. Sure do! But, I asked for a room with a balcony when I first arrived and the same guy told me there weren’t any more. Second room was okay but the toilet was exceptionally low to the ground. My middle aged knees struggled. I don’t know what people worse off than me would do. It wasn’t awful, but compared to my other Marriott stays, these multiple hiccups were out of Marriott’s character.
