Bad experience

Pros: Location
Cons: There was mold in the bathroom & the bathroom ceiling is really in need of repair.
When we arrived there was no one there to check us in. The door was locked & we waited about 20 minutes before someone came. We couldn't leave because we had already paid for the room! The guy had gone out to get milk. We Finally got in our room only to find that it was freezing in the room! Even though the temp was in the 20s the heat was off! We turned it on high & slept in our clothes! In the morning we find that there was nothing left for breakfast except cereal. The woman working that morning was very nice & went to get bread.

Won't Stay Again

Pros: The locations
Cons: Cleanliness, Make Repairs, Increase room size, Add more the the Breakfast, get better mattresses
Location: It was near the mall, and close to downtown so there were plenty of things to do.
We chose this hotel because it was on the west side of town, which is typically the more upscale side. This hotel was anything but upscale. The room was very small and felt more like a shipping container than a room. The bed was really comfortable. I have lower back problems and manged to sleep less than 4 hours total. The hairdryer in the room didn't work. The nobs in the shower were on the verge of falling off. There was dust everywhere. There were cracks in the walls, floors, ceilings, counter-tops, etc. The continental breakfast was basically bread or cereal with coffee or juice. They could have at least put out some fruit or some bagels. Other than having to wait for about 10 minutes to check in while the clerk talked to someone about what sounded like TV services or something I had no issues with the staff. But they didn't do anything to make the experience better either.

Don't ever go to this roach motel, Tv didn't work,roaches in the room, smelled like smoke in a non smoking room, noisy, nasty

Awful!! Absolutely no convenience. Staff rude when we requested an iron and ironing board.

Tried to scam me

When I arrived the service desk asked me how I intended to pay... When I said I had already paid he told me the payment was declined. When I said a confirmation email from hotels.com, he immediately accepted it and gave me my room. The whole thing felt like a scam- like he was trying to trick me into paying more. As long as you don't mind a potential scam, the hotel itself wasn't that bad.

The carpet was so dirty it left my feet black after taking a shower. The bed was very comfortable and clean, however.

Was very disappointed with the condition of the place. This was an old motel that it appears Days Inn acquired. Was expecting more of a hotel. Very dated and aged. Nothing like I was expecting. I've stayed at several other Cedar Bluff hotels and all have been great. This is definitely the exception.

Should have checked Yelp on this one

Pros: It was close to Cracker Barrel.
Cons: Bed, room, bathroom.
Expedia gave this 3 stars.....Yelp gave it 1. I should've checked Yelp first. Staff were cordial. Room was dirty and outdated. Floors felt like I was gonna fall thru. I shudder to think about what the bed would look like under a black light. Avoid this property. There are much better choices in the area.

dirty hotel

cigarette butts all over, next morning found bra and panties in parking lot and on steps . not a family environment . all lights did not work. bathtub dirty
