Nice hotel in downtown Knoxville

Posted Jan 12, 2017
Pros: We liked the location, the friendliness of the staff, the comfortable beds and the covered parking.
Cons: The water pressure in the bathroom wasn't very strong.
Location: We were in Knoxville for a workshop during a snowstorm so we didn't get to do much. The restaurants were within walking distance.
This was a one night stay and it was very enjoyable. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The hotel itself was elegant, clean and centrally located. The room was very clean, the bed and pillows very comfortable. The water pressure in the bathroom wasn't very strong but for one night we managed.

Night light way too bright.

Posted Dec 29, 2016
The night light was way too bright and it could not be turned off. The front desk said they could cover it, but the cover they put on fell off.

Thank you taking the time to let us know about your stay. I do apologize for the inconvenience of the amount of light that was coming through, although I am happy to hear the desk agents we're able to try and make it right. We look forward to seeing you in the future.

Very nice hotel in close proximity to downtown!

Posted Dec 23, 2016
Pros: The bar was very well-stocked and featured a wide variety of tap/bottle beers and almost any liquor or wine that you could want. Starbucks in lobby!
Cons: Unfortunately, there is a nearby fire station and trucks that are very audible whenever they are dispatched. We were awakened several times overnight.
Location: The hotel is very close to Gay Street and Market in the Square. LOTS of dining and shopping options. Makes a great day trip for a single or couple!
I booked a stay last-minute as a surprise for my wife; I was not disappointed! The hotel itself is beautiful and very well-appointed; there is a very nice bar and restaurant area in the lobby directly across from a Starbucks. The hotel is located a very short drive or walk from many of the more interesting attractions or venues in the downtown area. There is a uncovered pool on the third floor; nice in summer, but not very useful during the winter months. The staff is exceptionally polite, professional, and knowledgeable. The lobby includes a sitting area with fireplaces and computers if needed.

Great hotel in a great location. You do pay for parking however, we parked our car and ended up not moving it until we left. We were able to walk everywhere we went! Loved the Starbucks and lounge right onsite. Great stay!

Great location

Posted Nov 7, 2016
Location: Eat, Drink Shop, Farmers Market, Campus
Second stay in this facility. Very convenient to campus, Market Square, Gay street and Old City. Like that we can walk to Market Square and not worry about parking. Very nice lobby, bar, restaurant area. Rooms are average. Comfortable, but the bathrooms are a little undersized with single vanities.

Pros: Great staff and location.
Cons: Liked everything.
Location: Just passing through but it was near a restaurant we wanted.
Great room and quiet. Easy to find, easy in and out of the city.

We did a book now pay later. The hotel called a week before our stay and left a voicemail that if we did not call within 3 hours to update our credit card information on file they would cancel our room. When I called back, a lady named Jenna put me on hold for 22 minutes then she proceeded to tell me, "it had been one of those days". They also pre-charged our card for the price of the room which is the first time any hotel has ever done that when we have chosen book now pay later. Between this policy and Jenna attitude I would never recommend this hotel.
