One night in Knoxville

Posted Mar 28, 2017
Pros: Close to the interstate and the airport. Comfortable beds and relatively quiet. The staff was quite helpful delivering my luggage and calling me.
Location: Location was handy. Didn't get to do anything outside of the conference.
Checked in late - 10 PM. Bar was open, with snacks available near the lobby (sandwiches). My bag was delayed until 10AM the next morning, so the front desk gave me a survival kit - toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, etc. Breakfast was good and reasonable. The meeting room was adequate for the conference, with plenty of coffee and breakfast snacks. My missing bag was delivered to my room.

Double Charged

Posted Mar 6, 2017
I booked my room for 3 days, when I got to the hotel and checked in, I gave the hotel check-in person my debit card, I thought for incidentals, but he charged me for the room for 3 nights. I did not notice this charge until the next day, the manager explained what occurred, was apologetic, and said that she would refund my card. The hotel check-in person was in training, I heard him tell a prior guest, so when I gave him my card I advised him that I had already booked the room through Expedia, and it was paid for through Expedia. Another employee had to come help him, for whatever reason, but lo and behold, I was charged by Expedia and now by Holiday Inn. I have not gotten the refund in my account yet, but I trust it will be resolved. Other than this, the hotel was fabulous! The staff very cordial.

Pros: It was wonderful to find a pet-friendly hotel near the highway with great room service.
Cons: Scrub all the tile in the shower with tilex.
Every member of the staff I talked to was genuinely friendly and helpful. Room service quickly delivered a delicious dinner and my dog Allie and I settled in for the night, happy and well-fed. Although there seemed to be quite a few dogs staying in the hotel, the halls were quiet at bedtime and we slept well.

Did not like the hotel asked for credit card after I had prepaid . Put a hold on my credit card for days. We were there for a UT graduation. We were not in the room much of the time just to sleep. We also had a door between rooms and had a baby crying most of the night on the other side. We know the hotel could not do something about that, but we should have not been in a room that opens to the other room. The hotel could not have been full, we were up and gone before daylight and not a lot of cars in lot.

We appreciate that you gave us the opportunity to serve you. We are sorry that you had to deal with a crying baby while you were trying to rest. As far as asking for a credit card, that is standard procedure in all hotels. That is for items guests may charge to the room and also protects the hotel from damages and theft. Once again, we appreciate the opportunity to serve you.

Close proximity to freeway, restaurants and shoppi

Posted Dec 8, 2016
Hotel is in a great location with easy access to the freeway. There are a number of restaurants in the area with at least two Starbucks and an independent coffeehouse. The hotel gym is adequate but a Planet Fitness is only 5 minutes away. This was my second stay and I will probably choose it again

Great amenities

Posted Nov 27, 2016 on Hotels
Our stay at Holiday Inn, Cedar Bluff was very good. Lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. It was close to interstate. The restaurant in the hotel was good. Loved that they had an indoor pool, a basketball court, and workout room. Lobby seating was nice. The room itself was ok, the bathroom could have been a bit better. And the wifi and cable kept cutting out for brief moments. Overall, It was a very good stay.

Just average

Hotel was average. Ac unit in window and the remote didn't work. But the room was fine and hotel was quiet. Would stay again for price.

We appreciate the opportunity to serve you. I am a little confused about AC comment as our units are wall units. We apologize that there was an issue and we look forward to your next visit.
