Simple but clean

Posted Dec 2, 2016
very attentive staff, eager to please, loved that there are separate rooms in the suites as well as a kitchenette. Also the location is great; it is within walking distance to two fast food restaurants

Tried to Cancel - they still charged us

Posted Dec 1, 2016
Cons: Reservation procedure when using Expedia.
Called to cancel reservation for Friday, November 25th because my daughter wasn't able to make her flight. Although they say your card won't be charged until you get there, be careful to read the fine print. I called as a courtesy to tell them she wouldn't be coming, they said call Expedia, which I did. Expedia called and they told her they were charging us 1 night. I called back - they wouldn't budge - so again, they were within their rights to charge - but I didn't know I was guaranteeing payment at the time of the reservation - because it clearly said they would not charge the card until arrival. Very sneaky.

Old but great condition.

Posted Sep 6, 2016
Pros: Cost and cleanliness.
Location: It is on the main highway around town with access it to the downtown area, library, and court house. A shopping center is very close and McDonalds.
It was clean, and quiet. The bed was great, It has a complete kitchen, a separate bed room, a generous breakfast, and adequate parking.

Great location, clean rooms.

Posted Jul 20, 2016
Pros: Location, cleanliness.
Cons: The drive-through next door at Cookout is kinda loud, but that's not the hotel's fault.
Location: Maryville is a gateway town to the Great Smoky Mountains, so there's plenty to do.
The Luxbury is a great independent hotel with a location central to most of Maryville. The staff is polite and friendly, the rooms are clean and the rates are fair.

Great place, full kitchen

Posted Jan 19, 2016
Pros: The full kitchen, the large interior.
Location: Near the airport, the mall, restaurants, Knoxville
I was really surprised to see that it had a full kitchen, living room, and bedroom. Lots of room! Comfortable temperature inside with a thermostat for adjustments.

Maryville-Alcoa hotels

Posted Jan 9, 2016
Pros: Staff, location, rooms. Not the Ritz, but everything one needs for a good base away from home. Far better than most chains.
Cons: Don't fix what ain't broke.
Location: Midland Restaurant & Asian Buffet, north on 129, both superior restaurants. Buffet strictly Chinese, but what variety. Midland great American style.
Great location on Lamar Alexander Highway & Rt 129; 10 minutes to anything except Knoxville (20 mins). Superior staff, good free breakfast, clean rooms and everything you need already in the room(s). (linens, silverware, china, pots & pans, Wi-Fi) Restaurants, Walmart, shopping and a variety of other stores within 5-15 mins. Airport 15 mins. Weigel's gas station 5 mins west on Pkwy. Only 2 floors with stairs. True southern hospitality. Only place I stay when in area.

Facility is nice but a little outdated. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Plenty of room for a modest motel

Very nice hotel.

Posted Jan 1, 2016
Pros: The kitchen.
Cons: Everything was fine.
Location: Like I said there is a couple of nice restaurants within a very short walking distance.
The hotel was fabulous, every room has a complete kitchen. It made cook there well worth the stay and saved on cash. There is should you choose to, a couple of nice restaurants within walking distance. We have nothing bad to say about our stay. It was great.

Clean, very affordable suites

Posted Oct 2, 2015
Pros: Friendly staff, clean room, inexpensive.
Cons: Rooms and amenities can definitely use updating.
I travel for business quite a bit, so I've stayed in all sorts of places. This is not a 4 star establishment. It's a full size suite with a full kitchen and plenty of space for a very inexpensive price. The staff is very friendly. The rooms are clean. Perfect place to stay with a small family and conveniently located.

Location: The location is with in a 25 minute ride to Cades Cove in the Smokey Mountains. Maryville is just outside the commercial areas and is less congested.
The Luxbury Inn and Suites was a convenient way to see the nearby Smokey Mountains without staying in the very commercial area of Pigeon Forge.
