Very overpriced for it's condition

I had a bad first impression of my room. The wallpaper border (near the ceiling) was starting to peel down. The room was FREEZING when I walked in - I actually had to turn the air conditioning off and turn the heat on to bring the temperature up to a comfortable level - keep in mind, it was Tennessee in early September, so it was plenty warm outside. Finally, the remote wouldn't change stations - I had to leave it on A&E. I was so tired that I didn't complain to the front desk and just went to bed, so I can't comment on how they handled my lack of satisfaction. I paid the extra money for this overpriced hotels because the room doors are on an interior hallway - next time I'll take my chances on the Super 8 or Red Roof Inn with the exterior doors. Very unsatisfied.

Slept very comfortably

The hotel appeared to be a little dated all around. I found the bathroom to have a strange, chemical smell that was very noticeable and irritating. The bed however, was very comfortable and I slept very well during my stay.

Pros: nothing
Cons: everything hotel looks old and run down
Location: good location for event we were attending
Will not stay there again. Seemed staff couldn't care less if we were there or not.

The facility is in good shape. It is not really modern but is certainly serviceable. The room was comfortable. Bathroom lighting was too dim,which made it difficult for my wife to get ready in the morning. The shower curtain rod was hung upside down and the curtain kept sliding to the middle. There is no elevator, so you will have to carry your luggage upstairs. The carpet is worn and stained but the room was clean, no bugs. The staff was courteous and helpful. It is located near restaurants and tourist attractions. This room was a good value, not the nicest place, but worth the money.

Can't Recommend this Hotel

The carpet was pulling away from the wall in several places, the bed did not have a fitted sheet on the bottom so every time you switched positions the sheet pulled off the mattress. Mattress pad was yucky.Bathroom vanity formica was peeling off the wall. Door to room was not an outside door even though it opened onto the parking area. Would not stay here again.

Hotel didn't have elevators so had to take all luggage up stairs. Rooms were not very up to date so just felt gross. However, staff was nice. Would not stay there again.
