Okay for a quick stay

Posted Mar 20, 2017
Pros: The floors. They weren't carpeted, and I prefer that.
Cons: Friendliness of staff
When I checked in, the lady barely said two words to me. I had booked online, and she didn't even ask for my ID or any information at all. Checking out, a different lady was at least cordial. Also, the door to my room had a large space where it didn't meet the frame. I had to stuff a towel in the crack to keep the room warm, as I couldn't get the heater to work.

Wasn't thrilled with the fact that my room had a strong smell of pizza it, but that was tolerable. What was not was getting double billed for the room and now having to wait for a refund.

My room smelled musty or moldy.

Pros: Proximity to I-75.
Cons: See above..
The breakfast was very limited. No yogurt. The apples had bad spots.

Okay

The hotel was decent at best. The air conditioning was inadequate. There were flying insects in the room which probably came when the room was being cleaned since it opened to the outside.

I've stayed in worse rooms, but not many.

Outside of hotel looks good. Inside, it was pretty bad. Pieces missing from the A/C unit. Outlet covers missing. Bulb holder in floor lamp was broken loose and tied in place (I hoped I wouldn't get shocked when I turned on the lamp). Leaky bathtub faucet and toilet water supply line. I think I saw a mouse dropping on the sink counter (could have been a dead bug - I didn't look too close). Upholstery on chairs was very worn and soiled. On the plus side, the bed appeared clean and was reasonably comfortable.
