Room with window looking into a corridor.

Pros: Bathroom was good and location wise it is very close to center.
Cons: Everything described in my review.
Room with window looking into a corridor, no privacy, no natural light, no fresh air, Internet would not reach my room nor phone signal. Room looks old and outdated. Very noisy staff banging the doors before 6am. Breakfast not included and very very expensive for what it was! Could find a much better hotel for same or cheaper rate in that area.

Lovely place

Stayed in a standard double room - got the room at a good price that rivalled the Premier Inn. The hotel was clean, the room was furnished to a high specification, and the staff were lovely; recommended for a no frills stay in a lovely area.

Not worth the cash

Pros: Helpful staff
Cons: Get rid of the £2 debit card charge
Location: Tatton Park and Knutsford are superb a would recomend a visit.
Good location for Tatton Park but stayed in room 31, top floor , very hot if you opened the windows all you could hear was a plane taking off or landing every 30 seconds Breakfast not included in the £90 fee then got charged £2 for using a debit card Overpriced for a small attic room that you could not stand up straight in , will not be returning

Pros: Near the gates to Tatton Park.
Cons: Rooms, dining experience. Staff ok
When we arrived everything was ok, my fault that I didn't book a ground floor room for my disabled husband, the hotel staff tried to see if they could move us, but couldn't. We were on the 3rd floor up very narrow stairs. As the hotel is split between a couple of houses we were shown to the front door of our particular house, I felt that as the man showing us were to go knew that my husband was disabled he could at least have taken our small case up stairs for us. The room was supposed to be a superior room and was past it's best with tatty furniture and a bathroom that needed renewing, when we arrived there was something like a clump of black dust hanging down from under the bathroom radiator and it was still there when we left. We were staying 2 nights as we were attending the Tatton park show. The first night the food was ok, but the second night was joke. We arrived for dinner at 7.30 and there were 10 people in the dining room to be told that half the specials on the board were off, They had no chicken for the risotto, no special burgers and 2 of the 3 sweets on the menu were also off, all this at the most busy week of there year, after all there is a Sainburys around the corner. All the waiter kept saying was that he was off the day before , but surely it's the kitchen staff to know what they have in stock. I heard a man who came in after us when told by the waiter what was off say ' what sort of hotel is this 'and I had to agree.

Dear Gill Our sincerest apologies for not responding to your comments sooner, as with all online bookings our system will allocate to a room available and as you state that the member of staff did try to have you placed on a lower floor but was unsuccessful. We sincerely apologies to both you and your husband personally as the member of staff on duty should have offered to take your luggage, we have made some improvements to the décor of many of our rooms since your stay. Our Chef has been dealt with regarding the problems that had occurred the second night you dined and deeply regrets that it was not to your expectations after your 1st. We do sincerely hope that you will re-visit our establishment again and rest assured your special requirements will be taken care of accordingly. Kind Regards

First visit for 10years and very disappointing.

Pros: Knutsford is a very nice town.
The advertised Mediterranean Cuisine is no longer available the dinner though was good. No complaints. The real problem was with the young man on reception who seemed completely out of his depth. The room rate of grew by 2breakfasts. Then to be asked for £2 extra to pay by DEBIT CARD was the final straw. We'll be staying at the Premier Inn next time.

Dear Sir/Madame Our sincerest apologies for not responding to your comments sooner, the hotel owners wish to convey their apologies for being misled regarding the Hotel A la Carte Menu and plans are in place to have this sign replaced with a new one. With any reservations that are made online with ourselves breakfast is not included in the advertised rate and is an additional charge, with the card charge a notification is in place on our reception desk stating that all card payments will be charged £2 giving each guest the option to pay by cash. We do sincerely hope you will reconsider our establishment again. Kind Regards

A convenient place for a stopover.

Pros: The overall experience.
Cons: The breakfast is overpriced and unremarkable. If we stayed again, which we intend to, we would eat out.
Location: Knutsford is a busy little town with plenty of pubs and restaurants to suit all tastes.
Friendly staff, comfortable hotel, a few minutes from the centre of Knutsford.

The hotel is welcoming, friendly and clean. Near the centre so easy walk to local pubs and restaurants.

Memorable stay at the Longview.

Pros: Friendly yet professional
Cons: My room was a little cold.
Location: Knutsford a wonderful place
I booked through Expedia and any of the reviews mentioned the personaull feel of this inn.Lulu the owner allowed a slightly earlier than uisual check time and average professionalism from staff such as Neil.The big chains can offer amenities but not the common touch.

Pros: La décoration "so british", la qualité de l'accueil
Cons: Les escaliers étroits, l'absence d'ascenceur.
Location: Tout près du centre ville, l'hôtel Longview donne accès au centre de Knutsford.
Un hôtel de caractère et agréable, mais sans ascensceur : un calvaire pour transporter les bagages.
