Leisure stay ivernight

Wifi poor, very slow. Bar area poor and service in bar terrible. Staff did not know what they were doing and had no awareness of customer service. Room however was very good. Overall, would not stay again - hotel did not have a comfort factor and not welcoming.

Beautiful place with wonderful staff, do check your bill though. Other people's bills on our room.

Spa

The spa is absolutely fantastic - 5/5. Hard to find anything to eat late at night. Staff were helpful

We had a great stay here for a friends wedding, it was a really comfortable room and we made use of the lovely spa, which was very pleasant

Good hotel for a night away

Stopped here for 1 night. Lovely room, beautiful location, friendly staff and good meals. Would go again.

Spa was nice but untidy and not enough staff cleaning up. Reception staff were a little rude. Also seen gossiping about guests. the room service food was partially cold and hotel didn't offer any recompense. The breakfast is a self service.....which isn't what we expected. We will not stay here again. It's a golfers hotel.

Anniversary

I booked the room for a night for our anniversary, o sent an email to the hotel asking them to make the room a little special or give it a romantic touch, no one bothered to email me or anything. I think the check out time is ridiculous I paid so much for the night and didn't even start there for 24 hours its just a rip off I did not like it at all also the whole of my stay I had no signal on my phone what so ever I had to go out in the freezing cold to make calls, I would not recommend this to anyone my partner did not like it either plus the food was very limited.

Last 4 visits...each visit tried to book reflexology, a treatment listed on their spa menu, but the therapist is never there!! False claim on the menu??

A poorly managed mess.

The Spa and gym facilities were good. The rooms were clean and well presented. The quality of food and speed of service were appalling. It was clear that there was a complete management breakdown. Staff were being shouted at and high levels of blame and confusion reigned in every area. Only at the gym did you feel confident that things were working well. The staff had to be good at apologising for everything that just wasn't up to the mark. Will not consider this hotel again.
