"Koh Larn is an amazing little island, like stepping back in time. That being said, it’s like stepping back in time. The Thai tummy was real for me on this trip, so be careful what you eat. "A short birthday escape from the busy areas of Pattaya/Jomtien to the quieter life at Ocean Marina. King Balcony room was very comfortable, free mini bar stocked daily. Excellent staff, quick to respond to all requests. Swimming pool has separate kids play area, good for sunset. Several bar restaurants and beach a short walk, also the marina wall walk. Bang Saray restaurants only a 15-20 drive. Will be back."

"The beds are extremely hard, strong sewage smell from the bathrooms, poor quality breakfast, and communication challenges with staff largely not present at the front desk. Appreciated the free motorbike access and the pick up/drop off to the port. Overall, would not recommend without improvements. "
