This hotel is the place if you are looking for Old world charm. The staff was incredible... the food amazing! It's a little hard to find initially but when you do find it, you'll be blown away! Excellent value.

Best Hotel Ever!

One of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. Fantastic 16th century lodge packed with period features. Staff amazing and thoughtful. We had hot sunshine and wild thunder storms during our stay, and whatever the weather it was cosy and relaxing. Deep in a forest but on the banks of a lake, the food menu is unusual and forced me to try different things but it was all amazing. Parking is free for guests, wifi is free but drops and reconnects regularly. 1hr sauna is free per day for hotel guests.

More than just a stay in a hotel, an experience. From the beautifully-landscaped grounds to the atmospheric old lodge, the exceptional food, and the friendly accommodating staff, a memorable experience.

Beautiful hotel with tranquillity in abundancr

Lovely atmosphere with great friendly staff!!! set in beautiful surroundings in a large forest next to a very large lake.. not for those that require lots of entertainment with modern facilities. Food very good quality and tasty but the variety was very poor... hotel very clean and very unique... peaceful and relaxing is how I would describe

Unforgettable.

Hotel Noma Residence Promnice is a truly unique, historic and fascinating venue in a beautiful forest/lakeside setting. Dating from the 1860's, the building is in first-rate condition and the interior is unforgettable. Originally a hunting lodge, previous guests include Kaiser Wilhelm II and Countess Daisy of Pless, and the atmosphere of those privileged times can still be felt. All the staff were helpful, friendly and professional without exception, and English was spoken without difficulty. Breakfast, served in a small ante-room, was plentiful and tempting (with eggs cooked to taste on request) while dinner was served in the spectacular dining room. Very sad to have to leave - and can't wait to go again.

A one-off experience NOT to be missed!

Hotel Noma Residence , Promnice - The stuff of fairy tales! Beautiful Gothic Residence in stunning setting through the forest on the edge of a lake. Best to use Google Maps to find it as it wasn't showing on our brand new GPS but if you put in Noma Residence and there it is in Google Maps. Fine dining for dinner is well worth the experience, a little cool in some of the rooms so make sure you go prepared. The road in alone is quite an experience, surrounded by lush green forest and then all of a sudden a dream-like castle in front of you! The accommodation was wonderful cosy bed and all modern facilities. Breakfast very nice but not excessive. The walls - inside and out are covered with hunting trophys -whether you like them or not they are fascinating and a bit bizarre however they all add to the story-tale atmosphere.
